WASHINGTON — New polling shows that 62 percent of Americans don’t believe President Trump when he talks about the Russia probe.

Pollsters conducting the NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, which was released Sunday, asked Americans if they thought Trump “had been honest and truthful” when it comes to the investigation into Russian meddling during the 2016 election.

The article goes on to state the following:

Thirty-four percent said they agreed with that statement. Of those, 18 percent strongly felt that Trump was being truthful, while another 16 percent said they somewhat thought Trump was being honest.

The biggest chunk of Americans, 51 percent, strongly disagreed, while 11 percent said they somewhat disagreed. The survey also found that the percentage who believe Trump is implicated in his associates’ crimes has grown.
