With President Trump’s revised travel ban set to take effect at 8PM Thursday, lawyers are setting up shop at their local airport.
One major airport expected for a surge of legal attorney and representatives will be New York’s very own John F. Kennedy International Airport.
Many legal battles are expected to ensue following the Supreme Court’s partial reinstatement of Trump’s travel ban of people from six Muslim-majority countries. Essentially, the partial ban disallows anyone from the countries in question from traveling to the US if they lack any “bona fide relationship with a person or entity in the United States.”
However, the new, complex rules the ban establishes for visa applicants could also create a glut of legal headaches, on which hungry lawyers plan to feed.
