Clown Chases Child with a Knife

Earlier this week, there were reports of clowns luring children into the woods at a local park in South Carolina, concerning many parents and local authorities. Now, in Columbus, Ohio, police are on high alert after a 14-year-old student said a person in a clown mask chased him with a knife.

The young boy was headed to the bus stop Tuesday morning near Sandalwood Place on his way to school at Columbus North International School. He said that at around 6:15 a.m., a creepy guy in a clown mask, dressed in all black attire, chased him down with a knife.

“I thought it was crazy!” said mom of two Tombi Williams, who had read reports about the South Carolina clown sightings. “I did not think it was here, but it goes to show things crazy and stupid can happen everywhere.”

Columbus Police and Sgt. Rich Weiner said whether it’s a scary prank or something more sinister, they’re taking it seriously: “We don’t expect it during the early morning hours when people are going to work or school, so is there a concern there, yeah. We will have units in the area patrolling to make sure that this does not occur again.”
