CNN in hot water AGAIN over fake National Enquirer cover

The embattled liberal media network and champions of airing fake news are at it again!

CNN found itself in hot water after airing a fake National Enquirer cover during Jake Tapper’s broadcast – oops!

On Friday, CNN executives reportedly went into a “panic” after Jake Tapper’s “The Lead” reportedly aired a fake National Enquirer cover while discussing “Morning Joe” co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski’s accusation that Trump blackmailed them with a hit piece about the couple’s relationship if Scarborough did not apologize for negatively reporting on the president.

Page Six reports the cover that aired had the headline, “Heidi Cruz: Betrayed by Cheating Husband!” The fake cover apparently “promised details on a ‘sordid threesome, sleazy love letters and sensational photo proof.’”

Only thing is, that cover never actually appeared on the National Enquirer, according to Post’s sources, and “the cover is — literally — fake news.”

This magazine “cover” was actually never published.

“We’re told the network is taking the matter seriously, and that it has been referred to the [network’s] standards and practices department for review,” the Post wrote.

CNN had a rough week with three top employees resigning after the news agency had to retract a “very fake news” story that falsely reported that Trump transition team official Anthony Scaramucci was under Congressional investigation for having alleged ties to a Russian investment fund.

The disgraced news network has not yet issued a statement on the latest incident.
