In their efforts to remain a biased cheerleader for leftists ideals as they prop up losing candidates, CNN aired Democrat Jon Ossoff’s rosy defeat speech in its entirety after he lost the special election in Georgia’s 6th congressional district on Tuesday night.
Republican Karen Handel then gave her victory speech, which the network ran, but just as she was about to describe the issues that defined her agenda, they abruptly moved on to something else.
Representing the so-called “#Resistance,” the mainstream media spent the past few weeks predicting that Ossoff would win the special election, which they said would be a “referendum on Trump” that was supposed to signal the beginning of end of the GOP majority in the House of Representatives and take down the President as well.
Conservative social media users posted photos of the sad expressions of the faces of CNN’s political pundits at the moment they realized their man had lost.
This latest political drama follows a growing list of liberal disappointments which began with Hillary Clinton’s crushing defeat in November.
CNN anchor Don Lemon apparently could not deal with hearing Handel’s explanation regarding the exact reasons she had won, so the network just cut to a group of sad-faced talking heads who scrambled to ignore the facts and valiantly tried to redirect their viewers by rehashing their Russia conspiracy theories.
