Late-night host Stephen Colbert called for Trump’s resignation in his opening monologue on Monday night.

During CBS’s “The Late Show”, Colbert said, “I have something to say here. Donald Trump, if you’re watching, you’re a bad president, please resign.”

His comments come after recent reports claim President Trump leaked classified intelligence on ISIS to the Russian ambassador and foreign minister during a White House meeting.

Colbert’s audience applauded the host’s comments and anxiously awaited his next bash on the president.

Colbert then touched on a few of Trump’s recent tweets that suggest he may cancel future White House press briefings.

“Please, please, please don’t take Sean Spicer from us,” Colbert begged Trump, referencing reports that Trump may replace White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer with Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
