“Run the Rock 2020,” is the official name of a campaign committee which was filed with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on Sunday on behalf of actor and former WWE wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in his bid to run for president.
The paperwork was filed by an individual identified as Kenton Tilford of West Virginia, however his connection to Johnson is currently unknown.
During the past several months, Johnson has joked about running for POTUS as he played a muscular Obama on “Saturday Night Live” and in May, he appeared on the show in front of a podium labeled, “The Rock Johnson 2020”.
It seemed to be a television joke until he revealed earlier this year that his run is “a real possibility.”
America, I hear you.

In May, he spoke about how he would take on Trump’s policies and called for better leadership, responsibility and “poise” from the Oval Office.
Said to be registered as an Independent, the actor spoke at the Republican National Convention in 2000 and attended the Democratic National Convention the same year.
