According to Fox News, the decision has been made. The president will revise his executive order that places a temporary ban on people entering the U.S. if they stem from any one of seven terror-laden countries.
The new order will come with a twist. Exempt from the ban are people who already have a visa to visit the U.S. from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Yemen, Sudan and Libya.
The updated order has not yet been made public, but a White House official who preferred to remain anonymous, spoke to Fox News revealed that the public announcement of the new version would be made this week. The Wall Street Journal also confirmed a similar report.
The new version reportedly will disallow authorities to single out Syrian refugees when processing new visa applications. White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders would not confirm nor deny this new detail but did verify previous reports that the announcement of a finalized, new draft will be presented this week.
