U.S. Congressman Mo Brooks, (R) from Alabama, has said if Republicans really want to repeal Obamacare, he is providing a way to do it.

It was reported Monday afternoon that Brooks filed a bill on Friday that would repeal Obamacare with one simple sentence:

“Effective as of Dec. 31, 2017, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is repealed, and the provisions of law amended or repealed by such Act are restored or revived as if such Act had not been enacted,” the bill states.

That’s all — just simply repeal it.

His bill is titled the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act,” but has yet to attract any co-sponsors.

Brooks said his fellow congressmen who are serious about repealing Obamacare should prove it by signing the discharge petition to help his bill move forward.

“At a minimum, the discharge petition will, like the sun burning away the fog, show American voters who really wants to repeal Obamacare and who merely acts that way during election time,” he said.
