Journalists from the likes of CNN, the New York Times, and the Guardian were called out by congressman Ron Paul earlier this week after congressman Ron Paul released a list of “fake news” journalists that lied in their coverage of Hillary Clinton and her chances of winning the presidential election. He also pinpointed that a good chunk in the list perpetuated “bogus wars” with their fabricated reporting.
“This list contains the culprits who told us that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and lied us into multiple bogus wars,” according to a report on his website, Ron Paul Liberty Report. “These are the news sources that told us ‘if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. They told us that Hillary Clinton had a 98% of winning the election. They tell us in a never-ending loop that ‘The economy is in great shape!’”
The list includes the full names of the “fake news” journalists and the publications they write and report for. CNN takes the top spot with nine journalists involved in bogus reporting, followed by the NY Times and MSNBC tied for six each. CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and NY Times journalist Maggie Haberman are amongst those named on the list.
Below is a tweeted link from Paul himself exposing the list of fake journalists:
