Kellyanne Conway, former campaign manager and counselor to the president-to-be, responded to criticism toward Trump for not holding a press conference since July.
She openly criticized Hillary Clinton for not “making herself available enough to the press and to the public” while she was campaigning.
In an interview with ABC News, Conway said, “Let me say this, Donald Trump and Mike Pence have been forming their Cabinet at a rapid pace. The record speed with which they’ve done their Cabinet and their senior team is really something to behold.”
She went on to say, “This will be a traditional White House in the sense you will have a great deal of press availability on a daily basis and you’ll have a president who continues to be engaged with the press.”
