Corey Haim’s mom speaks out on allegations against Sheen

Judy Haim, the late actor Corey Haim’s mother, has named the person she believes to be the one who abused her son, and it wasn’t Charlie Sheen.

On Wednesday, a disturbing report emerged from The National Enquirer, alleging that Charlie Sheen had had a sexual relationship with Corey Haim. The relationship would have been illegal, considering Sheen was 19 at the time, while Haim was only 13.

Haim, who struggled with drug addiction and died in 2010 at 38 years of age, reportedly told a friend before he died that Sheen sodomized him while filming the movie, “Lucas,” in 1986.

Haim’s close friend, Corey Feldman, had previously written about an incident that occurred between Haim and another man on the set of the same film, although Feldman did not name the abuser at the time.

Other sources backed up the claims; eight witnesses reportedly spoke out as part of the investigation.

Judy Haim spoke about the allegations on an episode of “Dr. Oz,” airing Friday. Asked about the allegations against Sheen, who adamantly denied the relationship, Judy said, “When my son was 13, he’s not going to go and ask Charlie Sheen to go and sleep with him.”

In a 45-second promo clip for the episode, she apparently tells Dr. Mehmet Oz exactly who abused her son, but the name is edited from the clip.

“I have to tell you, that this guy (bleep) is the guy that abused my son,” she says.

Judy said she never noticed a change in her son’s behavior.

“I would have known if anything was wrong,” she said. “My kid hid nothing, he was like … transparent. He never hid anything, he was Corey. It’s out of character, that’s number one.”

In another promotional clip, Judy says, “Charlie Sheen, I never heard his name mentioned once.” She then said she would whisper details about what happened to Dr. Oz.

A representative for Sheen said the accusations against the actor are not true. “Charlie Sheen categorically denies these allegations,” the representative said.

The interview between Judy Haim and Dr. Oz will air on Friday at 1 p.m. ET.
