Cruz: Trump Voters Might As Well Put Hillary Sticker On Car

Ted Cruz is adamant that “We are headed to a contested convention,” and there he is planning to win the nomination.

In a radio interview Wednesday morning with Chris Stigall on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT, Cruz said a vote for Trump is just a vote for Hillary – Trump voters might as well just put a Hillary sticker on their car.

“We have got win and if Donald Trump is the nominee, it elects Hillary Clinton. Every vote for Donald Trump is a vote for Hillary Clinton. You might as well put a Hillary sticker on your car because Hillary wins by double digits against Donald Trump. I beat Hillary in the election and that’s why Republicans are coming together and are uniting behind a positive, optimistic message to bring back jobs and economic growth, to defend the Constitution and Bill of Rights and to keep America safe and defeat radical Islamic terrorists.”

Cruz also stated emphatically that Trump will NOT have the 1,237 delegates when he gets to Cleveland.   He said, “It is going to be a battle in Cleveland to see who can earn a majority of the delegates who have been elected by the people.”

Meanwhile, Trump has hired a delegate-winning MASTER to head up his campaign.   In his victory speech Tuesday night after the New York primary, Trump said, “It’s really nice to win the delegates with the VOTES.”

Trump’s campaign is confident he WILL be going to Cleveland with more than 1,237 delegates.

There may be a lot of left-over Hillary bumper stickers.
