Cuomo to Trump: “Deport Me”


New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo addressed a crowd on Wednesday afternoon regarding the Trump administration’s plans for deporting illegal aliens.

Cuomo incorrectly states that President Donald Trump will deport “immigrants,” likely not-so-inadvertently leaving out the correct phrase “illegal immigrants.” Regardless of Cuomo’s error, in his rhetoric, the Governor states that if Trump administration is going to start deporting, they should start with him first.

“If there is a move to deport immigrants, I say then start with me,” New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said. “If we’re going to deport immigrants, then who is safe?”

Cuomo references his parents as immigrants who came to America, though he fails to mention they went through the legal processes to reside in the U.S. as legitimate citizens.
