In 2013, shortly after Sean Hannity dedicated an entire hour to my films about illegal immigration, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart reached out to me via email asking to do an interview.
At the time, I was totally unfamiliar with The Daily Show (“DS”).  Here is the email sent to me by the producer:

screen-shot-2016-10-19-at-12-30-06-pmHer phone call was even more convincing than her email. Juliet ranted about her father being a former US Marine, and that the problem of illegal immigration needs to be addressed before it’s too late.

When I arrived to the DS and saw the “reporter” preparing to interview me, I asked, “You look familiar, aren’t you a comedian?”  He replied, “Nobody ever thinks I am funny.”  Immediately, everyone on the crew laughed.  At that point I knew this was not a serious interview.   I should have walked out, but I had traveled 3-hours to get there, so I gave it a chance.

His first few questions were “shock questions” that had nothing to do with the topic.  Confused, I made a few grimaces.  Eventually, I realized what he was doing — he was capturing strange facial expressions on my part to use as cut aways.  At that point I said, “I know what you’re doing, and I know what you want so I will give it to you.” Thereafter, every answer was solid and straight forward. But it didn’t matter — they were determined to do a hit piece because that’s what the liberal media does.

Trump often talks about how the media will cut down his answers and thus, the message gets lost.  That’s shady journalism but it’s not false editing.  In the case with the DS, they literally took words I gave to one answer and placed it with another.  EXAMPLE:

The interview….
DAILY SHOW:  “Reports say racism is on the rise, do you hate people from Mexico?”

DML: “I don’t read those reports, and no, I don’t hate people from Mexico.”

DAILY SHOW: “There are reports that state illegals pay taxes, do you agree?”

DML: “Paying sales tax is not the same as paying income tax.”

But the DS falsely edited the tape to completely alter the narrative.  Here is what aired:

DAILY SHOW: “There are reports that state illegals pay taxes…” —

DML: “I don’t read those reports.”

The final product was so bad that I received death threats.  My lawyer contacted Comedy Central asking them to take down the video from the web.  Viacom, who owns Comedy Central, refused to remove the clip.  It’s been years now and I am still alive, so you can watch the show clip (below).  If you look closely, you will see that my lips don’t match with the words when the camera is shooting from behind me on an angle.

Today, a producer from The Daily Show put a tweet demanding James O’Keefe release the fully unedited footage he has from the Project Veritas videos showing how the Democrats and Hillary commit voter fraud and send fake protesters to Trump rallies in order to incite violence.   The Daily Show has some nerve.

O’Keefe’s videos do not use multiple cameras.  There is no dubbing.  We see and hear what is being said at the time it is being said without any distortion.  So, I am challenging The Daily Show to a test of honesty.

I am a true conservative and a Donald Trump supporter, but I will donate $2,000 to the Hillary Clinton campaign if The Daily Show releases to me the unedited footage from the interview they did with me in 2013.  I will donate an additional $8,000 to amnesty group, LA RAZZA, if The DAILY SHOW puts out a statement apologizing for putting my family at risk.   BELOW the Tweets is a video player.  Click the arrow and see the segment with me on the Daily Show.
