A teenage girl has gone viral on Twitter after she was dared to put a hammer in her mouth.

Kaley, 14, from Louisiana, was challenged by a friend to put the head of a hammer in her mouth and posted pictures to social media after the tool became stuck.

The teen had been fangirl-ing over members of Korean boy band BTS when she described one of them as “so beautiful I could shove a hammer in my mouth.”

After her friend insisted she does it and the Kaley complied, the tool became lodged behind her lips and she uploaded an image online with the caption: “how do u tell ur mom that u got a hammer stuck in ur mouth.”

Kaley said getting it in wasn’t the hard part, the challenge was getting it out. After ten minutes of pulling and twisting, the hammer came free.

Thousands of people retweeted the picture and the teen even admitted she put the hammer back in her mouth a couple of times to show her friends.

Reportedly, her mother is now “hiding the toolbox” from her daring daughter.
