Dead celebrity icon’s pet is now a famous, money-making artist

Hollywood stars are beings of many talents, and apparently Michael Jackson’s chimp is proving to be a rising star in the art community.

The chimp named Bubbles accompanied Jackson on his famous 1988 tour of Japan and became a pop star. Today, he’s a painter.

Yes, Bubbles has rediscovered himself painting masterpieces, which will be on display starting July 21 at Frames USA & Art Gallery in Miami, Fla.

Some of Bubbles’ pieces are priced as high as $2,000.

All the proceeds from the sale of his artwork will go to the Center for Great Apes, which Bubbles has called home since 2005.
