New York City subway passengers were greeted by a busy crime scene at Herald Square Friday morning after a dead man was allegedly discovered sitting in a wheelchair near the transit booth.
Officers discovered a man’s body on a platform of the Herald Square subway station at 34th Street and Sixth Avenue shortly before 7 a.m. Friday, police said.
The man was unconscious and unresponsive but did not appear to have suffered any trauma, police said.
EMS pronounced the mean dead on the scene, police told Patch.
