Dealers Use Kennedy Home to Run Drug Operation

You never know where drug dealers may be keeping their large stashes of goods these days.

For dealers Troy Monteiro and Trevor Rose, a home owned by Kennedy relatives on Cape Cod seemed like the best choice to hide 200 grams of fentanyl.

According to Fox News, on Wednesday Barnstable Police followed Monterio and his girlfriend from their apartment in Bedford straight to a stash of fentanyl worth $40,000.  The drugs were hidden on the beach that is near the Kennedy home in Hyannisport, Massachusetts.

Reports say the two were hiding the drugs on the beach and in the home, then distributing it to dealers and users in Cape Cod.  In addition to the drugs, fentanyl processing equipment was also found in the home.

Fox News reports the Hyannisport home is owned by an LLC managed by Robert Sargent “Bobby” Shriver III. He claims to have been unaware of the situation.

Monteiro was charged with two counts of trafficking fentanyl and conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act, according to Fox News.

His girlfriend, Ariel Price-Perry, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act as well.  Reports say she tried to destroy the evidence while Monterio was being arrested, so she is also facing impeding a police investigation charge.

Rose was charged with one count of trafficking fentanyl and one count of possession of cocaine. All three suspects are being held on $100,000 bail each.
