Hillary Clinton’s new book, detailing the roles played by former FBI director James Comey and Russian hackers in her 2016 presidential defeat, is set to be released on Sep. 12, and she has dedicated it to the only people who will read it: her remaining supporters.

One supporter posted to Twitter a dramatic picture of the unbound book, which is a collection of essays about the election titled, “What Happened,” saying it was “not even bound yet but making me cry.”

Clinton has certainly done a lot of crying since the election. No one wants to put the defeat behind them more than Democrats who actually hold positions in office, but Clinton is having none of it, insisting that she would’ve won the election had James Comey not sent a letter to Congress a mere 10 days before the election, implicating her in yet another email scandal. Sources told The Hill last month that Clinton “wants the whole story out there.”

This is irritating for leading Democrats looking to turn over a new leaf for the 2018 and 2020 elections, who have told Clinton to step aside. All ruminating about their embarrassing loss does is remind voters that they’re the Party that blew such a monumental lead and lost to a non-politician. Even Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer offered a damning account of Clinton’s excuse-making.

“When you lose to somebody who has a 40 percent popularity, you don’t blame other things — Comey, Russia — you blame yourself,” Schumer said. “So, what did we do wrong? People didn’t know what we stood for, just that we were against Trump … and still believe that.”

But it appears Clinton has abandoned doing what’s best for the Party and is moving forward with the book, nonetheless. At least one person is excited about it.

The title of the book, “What Happened,” is also the name of a best-seller book written in 2008 by Scott McClellan, former-President Bush’s press secretary.

A self-proclaimed “politically incorrect” group called /pol/ News Forever sent out a Twitter post, mocking the title of Clinton’s new book:

“Hillary’s new book asks “What Happened?” Well, she:
-rigged primaries
-colluded w/ foreign powers
-skipped entire States
-broke federal laws”

Former-President Bill Clinton has a book coming out, as well, due next year, and is presently meeting with Hollywood producers to make a deal on the movie rights. His book will be titled, “The President is Missing,” and is due out in June 2018.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Clinton and the book’s author, James Patterson, will be going to Hollywood this week to meet with interested producers in person, including J.J. Abrams, Steven Spielberg, Steve Bing and George Clooney.

The project is reportedly being treated as “top secret,” and details on the book’s plot are not being revealed. A clue was given in a May 8 statement that simply said the book will reveal “insider details that only a president can know.”

What the title of the movie will be also remains a mystery.
