Dem editor goes on Twitter rant about laws to “conceal” rifles

Along with other Democrats, Atlantic editor David Frum joined the call for more gun control laws, in response to the shooting at a GOP congressional baseball practice Wednesday morning.

Frum tweeted out a post blasting Virginia’s gun laws, including complaining that the state required no permit for concealed carry of long guns – completely ignoring the fact that it’s nearly impossible to “conceal” a long gun.

The Daily Caller also pointed out that Frum jumped on the gun control bandwagon, despite the fact that information has not yet even come forth with how the shooter obtained the rifle he used in the shooting, as he wasn’t even from Virginia.

Also, Virginia already requires background checks for people purchasing firearms from licensed retailers, and has since 1989.

Frum was blasted by critics on Twitter over his thoughtless call to conceal long guns.
