Democratic Super Pac Attacks Trump Agenda

A Democratic group called the “American Bridge” has dubbed their effort the “Trump Administration Accountability War Room.” and are intent at acting as a “watchdog” program that would monitor and expose incoming Republican White House.

This group is led by David Brock, a longtime friend of Bill and Hillary Clinton.

The Washington Examiner states that in a press release issued by American Bridge, Brock said, “the group would coordinate with Democrats in Congress, progressive activists and others to supplement the party’s opposition to Trump. The goal is to make sure the Trump administration is “accountable, transparent and held in check.”

American Bridge has also announced that it is not waiting for Trump’s Jan. 20 inauguration to put its new campaign into play.

Brock said his campaign will begin immediately and go on the offensive by utilizing new technology to gather and disseminate information. Brock also includes a plan to reach Trump’s own supporters by social media and paid advertising.

A GOP strategist, who wants to remain unanimous, said he doubts American Bridge’s campaign would be effective at all. He said,

“During the 2016 campaign, many political observers expected more opposition research on Trump to roll out after the tape of him joking about sexual assault was leaked to the Washington Post. But nothing much came forward after those reports.” The GOP strategist stated that as a failure on the Democrat’s side.
