Democrats have boycotted two committee votes on President Trump’s cabinet member nominees, citing they need more information.

The Senate Finance Committee was schedule to vote Monday night on whether to advance Steven Mnuchin, Trump’s nominee to lead the Treasury Department, but they delayed the vote.

This trailed Monday morning, when they were supposed to meet at 10 a.m. for a vote on Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.), nominee for Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, but Democrats simply did not show up.

Sen. Orin Hatch (R-Utah) blasted the Democrats stunt to hold up the vote, saying, “This is the most pathetic thing I’ve seen in my whole time in the United States Senate. We’ve had hearings, we’ve had these people appear, they’ve gone to their offices, they’ve talked with them there, we kept the hearings going as long as they wanted them to go.”
