A multitude of Democrat lawmakers have set Twitter ablaze in defense of their fellow lawmaker since he’s been called out by Trump over recent insults.
When Congressman John Lewis told NBC in an interview Friday that he doesn’t consider Trump a “legitimate president,” Trump hit back in his normal Twitter-storm fashion.
Trump tweeted, “Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to mention crime infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results.”
Below are just a FEW of the many Dem. lawmakers who jumped to Lewis’s defense. None of them are chastising him for calling Trump an illegitimate president, but they’re plenty upset that Trump called him out for it.

John Lewis is an American hero.
You’re a fake billionaire who won’t release his taxes.
Put down Twitter and get serious about governing. https://t.co/LIvpXhX2wX
