Dennis Miller’s Powerful Statement: “Conservatism is Dead”

Conservative comedian Dennis Miller appeared on the “O’Reilly Factor” Thursday night to discuss the state of the country. Miller tells host Bill O’Reilly he believes the country has gone too far left and cannot be recovered. “I think the ship has sailed,” Miller said.

O’Reilly was a bit more optimistic, but Miller’s statements carried heavier and more serious weight:

“I was shocked last night when Hillary Clinton actually said to everybody, ‘You know what? You can kill the unborn up until the minute they are born. The left believes in cradle to grave entitlement. They just make it hard to get to the cradle.”

“Eight years ago Hillary Clinton could never have said that. That would have caused all kinds of outrage in this country,” O’Reilly said. “Now they don’t care.” O’Reilly then mentions that the country can come back as long as Clinton doesn’t win and appoint “two more Ruth Bader Ginsburgs.”

Miller doesn’t believe so, and makes a comparison of the U.S. to “Lord of the Flies.” “One side or the other has the conch shell, and I expect my skull to be beaten in by it,” Miller said. “Do I think the ship has sailed? Yeah, I do.”
