I will start off this op-ed by saying without fear or favor, that I hereby declare I am a fan of Breitbart News (BN). I don’t agree with every title and article they’ve posted over the years, but then again, looking back, I don’t agree with every title and article we’ve posted on my website over the years. Bottom line, I am a fan.
Mathew Boyle, one of the finer writers they have at BN is a good guy. He appeared in my film ‘We Ride to DC,’ and he interviewed me for nearly an hour on BN radio in 2015.
A few years back, when Facebook was cracking down on conservatives, my Facebook page was taken down for no reason. Immediately, I reached out to BN — they went to bat on my behalf and I was reinstated by Facebook.
There was another time when a story was about to publish on BN in which I was named as a source. At the time I had received threats to my family and asked they pull it until I had confirmation it was just a hoax, which it was. BN didn’t hesitate to protect me.
The mainstream media frames BN and Steve Bannon as “haters,” but that said, anyone who reveals the truth about progressives is often tagged as being a hater by the Left.
I will admit, there were times when I thought they went a bit too far with some of the pro-Trump articles during the campaign. Instead of sounding like a news website, BN appeared more like the Donald J. Trump website. But hey, I’ll call it fair game considering CNN was feeding debate questions to Hillary.
With Bannon now out of the administration, he is free to reveal all that is broken within the White House. That said, I don’t care what anyone says to the different… everyone, including Trump’s kids, is fair game going forward. They best all keep in line when helping Trump make America great again.
I see Bannon’s job right now as the “truth keeper.” He knows the games that are played inside that White House, and he’s too proud to allow it to go unreported.
His role is bigger now than it was when he stood at Trump’s side in the Oval Office.
His new job is to lead a new movement against the mainstream media. He must spearhead the way to stop the Left. Make no mistake, Bannon knows better than anyone how determined the Left is to put an end to conservatism in America.
Right now, I deem Bannon as the most powerful man in the United States.
He has access to hundreds of millions of people at Breitbart. He has websites like mine waiting to see what he posts next. Thus, he gets indirect access to hundreds of millions of more people each month. He has access to hundreds of millions of dollars through his ties to Republican donor, Robert Mercer. And Bannon has every member of the White House, and the GOP, crapping in their pants now because he is free to speak his mind.
He’s only been back on the job for two days, and already there are two stories about Ivanka that aren’t exactly favorable, and on Sunday evening BN posted a story reaming National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster.
In the article about McMaster, Breitbart News holds nothing back when classifying McMaster as being soft on Islamist extremism and terrorism.
The article can be read by clicking here. It’s titled, “H.R. McMaster Endorsed Book That Advocates Quran-Kissing Apology Ceremonies,” and it claims that the national security advisor supported a book advising U.S. military personnel to avoid desecrating the Quran, so as not to inflame religious tensions with Muslim populations in countries where American troops are deployed.
Weeks from now, Trump will turn his back on McMaster. Trust me on that one.
Bottom line, Bannon is a dangerous man in a good way. Him leaving the White House may be the best thing to happen to the Deplorables since Trump was sworn in. Stay tuned.
