DML: Chicago Tribune proposal to break up Illinois into pieces

A reporter for the Chicago Tribune is grabbing headlines after he posted a story online about a plan he devised to dissolve the state of Illinois.

According to the reporter,  the state has lost its will to live, and can no longer operate as it is beyond repair.  The reporter suggested breaking up the state and giving itself away to the surrounding states.
