Dear Mr. President:
A few weeks ago I sent you a letter from one of my readers who also happens to be named, “Dennis.” Today, Dennis sent me another letter hoping I’d forward it to you.
Please see the letter from Dennis Nagan below. If you’d like his phone number, RG can contact me for it. He asked me not to publish it on the web.
MR. NAGAN’s letter sent to me on Saturday, July 1…
I always admired your willingness to fight back against those who attacked you when you were running for president. If they hit you, you hit them back harder. You had nothing to lose as you chased the presidency. That style worked great beating your opponents.
Now that you are our president, it’s time you drop that style as it doesn’t bring anything positive for you. You aren’t going against an opponent. You are fighting for every American who needs a better way of life!
Beating down those who oppose you doesn’t bring any good to those of us who voted for you. Most of your attackers are individuals or organizations that have become irrelevant. They attack you with wild accusations in hopes you’ll attack back and get them in the news.
When you attack them it hurts you and the American people. Plus, you’re making “zeros” into “heroes.” Meaning, every no-name person in the media, the alt-left, and in the Democrat Party know they can become relevant again if they can trick/anger you into tweeting about them.
You worked the art of the deal to “WIN” in business. You are working the art of the deal to WIN over world leaders. You aren’t working the art of the deal with Republicans and Democrats to get us affordable/quality health care or a new tax plan. You are letting the irrelevant distract you from your strength of making great deals for Americans who are struggling.
You promised us you’d undo the great divide intentionally created by Obama. Fighting back against your attackers and those who oppose you increases the divide. Please continue to tweet and use Facebook constantly to get the word out about “winning” for America.
Please remember that hating isn’t the opposite of love. Apathy is. It’s time you ignore those who attack you and hate you. Without your replies to keep them relevant they will fade away and so will their hate. Ignore them by allowing the love millions upon millions of people like myself have for you drown them out.
