DML Goes to Facebook LIVE Late Last Night About “The Speech” (video)

Dennis Michael Lynch spent the past week trying to convey his concerns about the president’s messaging. “I’ve been supporting the president long before he even announced his candidacy. I lost my TV show because of my support for the man, so I get no pleasure in calling him out. He needs to change the narrative. His address to Congress is a chance to do just that,” said DML in a recent Walk & Talk.

DML’s concerns were based on the president’s desire to put all of the focus on “fake news.” He felt the president was making great strides in the Oval Office, but that Americans weren’t being told the real story. “Look at his tweets, so far, as president. There are 29 about fake news, but not a single one about veterans, poverty, or homelessness. There’s been just one about taxes. Two about ObamaCare. He’s put out that many tweets about Arnold’s poor TV ratings. It has to change,” said DML.

His concerns were confirmed when the president sat down for an interview on Tuesday morning with Fox & Friends. The president graded himself a “C” when it comes to messaging. “My messaging isn’t good,” said President Trump.

On Monday, DML detailed the sort of speech that could turn everything around for the president. “It has to be positive, it has to outline the road ahead. It has to be a speech for all parties and all Americans, and it must not include the term “fake news.”

Entering the speech, the president’s approval rating was one of the worst in recent history. But DML said that will all fade away with the perfect speech.

According to DML, the president gave the greatest presidential speech of his lifetime last night. DML rated it a 9.97 out of 10 in an op-ed he penned last night, following President Trump’s address to Congress. Immediately after he posted the story, the rash of emails came in asking DML to do a LIVE broadcast on Facebook.

Below is DML’s short Walk & Talk from Tuesday night which drew nearly 7,000 people at 10:45 p.m. It’s a great DML session to listen to especially if you’ve been a part of the recent Walk & Talks.
