FROM DANIELLE
OFFICIAL TEAM DML GROUP. As someone who has administrated, moderated & owned groups on fb for a while, I want to let you know that it’s imperative that you make some rules.  Within days you will have post after post of people trying to sell things and non stop fighting. If you need extra admins I would be happy to help.
You need to write a set of group rules and post it in the description and keep it in a pinned post.  I’ll get you an example from a Disney group I’m in- Most groups have insanely strict rules so chaos doesn’t ensue. Sincerely,
Danielle

DML:  I appreciate the concern, and the advise, but I assure you my tolerance for the things you mention is nil.  That said, I don’t like posting “rules” as it reminds me of Obama, and the sort of overreach that stifles America.  If people cannot conduct themselves nicely, I suspect they will be reported to us and we will delete them from the group.  It’s that simple.  I want people to feel as if they have a place to voice themselves without me looking over their shoulders.   Stay professional, don’t post hate, and don’t solicit our members with garbage.  If the onslaught of information that comes from the group is too much for some people, then I assume they will leave.  That’s their choice and I will respect it.  But I ain’t changing a thing.  When more people are coming in than leaving, I chalk that up as being a big win.

FROM GLISSON
Please tell me how to join the TEAMDML group.

DML:  Go to Facebook.com/groups/TEAMDML and request membership.  It’s free, obviously.  The group is meant to get like-minded people to come together and share positive information.  It’s also another channel for me to call upon folks when it’s time to fight a bill or make noise to protect the Make America Great Again movement.  It’s also a place for me to share stuff I would not be able to on our business page which is more or less dedicated to news items.  Fun stuff.

FROM JOE
Hi DML! I’m writing about what’s going on in “Official Team DML Group”.  I have had a few of the people I invited already drop out because the group is turning into a free-for-all.  There is no leadership or direction in the group – people are treating it like they treat The Deplorables (of which I am also a member) and posting general right-leaning articles (some of which are fake tweets from Democrats).

I recommend you come in and update the group description, and also add a Pinned Post giving us some direction of what you want to see become of this group.  I don’t think you just want it to be a free-for-all or a mini replica of The Deplorables.  I would think that what people post should be DML related e.g. discussions of your videos, movies, and your news articles. Thanks, DML, for everything you do for us!  MERRY CHRISTMAS!

DML:  I appreciate your concerns, but you are incorrect.  This group is not about me and my videos.  It’s about Team DML.  Thus, I am not telling people what to post and what not to post.  I will tell say not to post mean spirited posts, or things that are ridiculous and unrelated — e.g., a video that shows a squirrel getting run down by a car.  If people see something that is bad they should report it to us.  I have no problem with people sharing photos of their family and Christmas trees.  As I see it, they are excited to have a place to go where the crowd is friendly.  I assume the posts will slow down when the newness wears off.  Keep in mind, once this becomes  a headache for me, I will not be interested in doing it.  So people should be smart.  But I am not about to write a list of DML’s ten commandments.   I appreciate your input!

FROM GRACEANNE
Hi Dennis,  Quick note. Read your tweet to Rosie today. You are hysterical.  Can’t stop laughing. God Bless and get better please.. Love, Graceann Pepe

DML: Dang cough won’t quit.  It’s like have Rosie stuck in my chest and no matter what I throw at her she won’t leave me alone.  LOL.

FROM SAM
I took your poll today at the same time I bought your latest bumper sticker, which is the greatest bumper sticker I have ever seen.  Did you design that yourself?  In the poll I voted for Alec Baldwin, but I could have voted for any person on the list.  I cannot remember being so stumped to choose.  Great poll.

DML: I did design it. People can see the sticker by clicking here.  As for the poll, I picked Kimmel because I think he reaches the most people.  Rosie is leading the poll, however.

FROM KATHIE
I just got an email that says, ,Congratulations, message received, asking me if I want to unsubscribe from Facebook. I never sent anything to them suggesting that I want to unsubscribe so am thinking that this is in response to becoming a member of Team DML. Just thought you should know !!!

DML: My God, do they hate me / us / Team DML.  I love it.

Here are some of the great photos posted to TeamDML.
