I took you poll this morning about understanding the tax plan from the GOP. Of the 3 answers you offer us to choose from I would have picked “I do not understand the bill.” But I picked NO — I DO NOT FAVOR THE BILL. If I don’t understand the bill it’s not my fault. It’s the fault of the GOP and Trump for not making it simple to understand and therefore I do not support it. I am disappointed in this bill after waiting a year for something to pass.
DML: I tried to explain the bill last night at 6pm on the FightingForTrump Facebook page. Perhaps watching that video (located under the videos tab) will help some.
Sorry to be pessimistic, but I foresee a problem with this tax plan. President Trump touts this as a ‘gift’ to the middle class – I think NOT. A 2% reduction doesn’t amount to anything with health insurance rising, property taxes being increased and the Federal Reserve raising interest rates again this year, I believe most of the ‘middle class’ will suffer. Also, I work for the government and will not benefit from this at all, unlike the House & Senate who get to establish their own exorbitant increase in salary. To think that small businesses and corporations will hire more and stimulate the economy is too naïve. I believe they have suffered so long, that they will greedily just take their profits and sock it away. Additionally, I live in NY and prefer not to move to a state where taxes and expenses might be lower, but the income is commensurate with that area making a move a moot point. If the president gave the middle class at least an 8% reduction, it might be worth it. Sorry to be such a downer, but I don’t envision that silver lining. I pray my feelings are proven wrong. Thank you DML for your insight, simplified explanations and tireless efforts to bring forth a conservative news outlet. Blessings to you, your family and Team DML. Regards, Jane
DML: Jane, I recognized your name and want to publicly thank you for the nonstop generosity and support you show DML News and my family. As for the tax plan, I am 100% behind your statement, and have my fingers crossed that the projections offered by the GOP hit the bullseye. The biggest concern I have is that Trump gets too caught up in the stock market number. Keep in mind, it’s just a number and thus, it can drop fast and at any given moment. We need to see wages increase for the middle class. If the wage increases come sooner than later, the GOP plan will have legs. If they don’t, it’s just a plan for the rich to get richer. As you probably know, my plan is the best plan. LOL. A flat tax solves a lot of issues. Tack on government spending restrictions and the deportation of illegal aliens and the economy would be unstoppable.
Dennis, have you seen? New children’s book called “Santa’s Husband” depicts a black gay Santa married to a white Santa!
DML: No, I have not. Please send us a link using the submit new button on DENNISMICHAELLYNCH.com

DML: I am sure we received your card, thank you! So many people have sent us cards, gifts and donations — we are so very humbled. As for the screenshot about the train tracks. It could be a hoax. Please keep that in mind.
