FROM WILLIAM
We need to go back to the paper ballots, I can wait a few days for the results.
The Dems love these machines and no voter ID, because they can be so easily manipulated in their favor. I would venture to say California has massive voter fraud favoring the left.

DML: You will never see the paper come back.  The best way is to have votes by finger print.  But then everyone would have to be fingerprinted and that’s a problem for many, many people.  The voting nonsense in this country is only getting worse with time.  It would be nice to have a voter ID card.  But minorities yell “discrimination” if and when an ID option arises in debate, and so it will never be a reality.   At the end of the day does it really matter?  These politicians do nothing anyhow.

FROM SHANNA
MACHINES IN 18 STATES CAN BE HACKED IN 2 MIN OR LESS WITH NO TOOLS

DML: I think the 18 number is way off.  Try 50.

FROM CARLA
Good morning,  Can you post the dates and where you will be on this next tour?
I’m in Palm Harbor, Florida and would love to meet you and your family.

DML: Our next tour, which begins in Florida on the 18th, will not include any public appearances.  We are filming the final scenes of our Parkland film, and we are filming an episode of AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL.  I’m sorry we can’t make any stops, but maybe you’ll run into us.  I will be in the state for 13 days, always on the run, hitting multiple areas throughout the state.  Look for the hot, sweaty guy with a camera.

FROM TRACY
Your Op Ed on Omarosa was spot on. We are now going to be consumed with her book and recordings. How many does she have?  From what I have read, I feel they really amount to nothing. It just reveals her true character.

I do think it is the tip of an iceberg. In today’s climate and technology your word/ or words will/ can come back to haunt you.

The level (as in our Presidency) is where we need to be concerned. We need to realize that no one is safe. There are evil, manipulative people in this world. Giving anyone ammunition to use against you is a form of suicide.

No one is perfect. We are all flawed. However, the President needs to step back and let this stuff go. Omarosa has an agenda. Which she will play out.  The best thing is to ignore.

DML: Trump doesn’t know how to ignore tabloid crap, and as I predicted in the op-ed he’s already launched the tweets that read like it came from an amateur president.  It’s come to a place and time where I’m left shaking my head more often than not.

FROM TIM
The PHOTO BOOK… I got my copy and I love it, you have very talented children and they will do great things when their time comes….thanks to the whole DML family and we are TEAM DML

DML: Thanks for the kind words about the kids and for the support via purchasing the photo book.  Ashley has two more years of school and then she’ll be our main cinematographer — right now she, Denny and I split the filming.  Denny is with me now F/T, and is already a strong producer (his homeless film is outstanding — we just wrapped our last scene two days ago).  Even Ryan, who starts college in September, is now talking about coming to work with us F/T when he is finished.  He just spent ten days filming with us for the first time and loved it.  We also inserted him into an episode of AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL and he literally stole the entire show (see photo below from a scene).  My little one, Kelly Anne, is a total ham and loves the camera — she refers to herself as “KAL” all the time.   Below is a photo from our recent episode for ATB in which we discover the hidden beauty inside a national park.  Ryan was hysterical as he was torturing my wife with his antics.  The episodes will play in 2019.  We are pitching the series to Netflix.

FROM TRACY
Some Americans are taking home bigger paychecks. I do not fall in that category. In fact it is quite the opposite.

I am taking home much less due to higher premiums for health care and rising union fees which doesn’t help the worker, just the union. We cannot at this point opt out of either the above mentioned entities. The health care opt out only applies to those people who are married. If their spouse has a better program, then they can go with that option. If you are single it doesn’t apply.

As for union fees, that is a different nightmare. The unions in Ca. have a stronghold. Our money is being used not to help us, but to support political candidates that I do not support. Our union is one of the biggest in the nation. We are now beginning negotiating for a new contract.

The reps are brainwashed and do not listen to what the average worker is begging for, their response is “we are working for this , which has nothing to do with the NOW.

Yes the economy is doing better, and I’m sure a great amount of Americans are doing better. However this is just a bandaid, that could come crashing down.

I want our economy to continue and grow. I want to see ALL Americans thrive. However, there are enough of us not seeing an improvement. I have actually lost money in my last paycheck. It was just a few dollars. It was enough to hurt.

DML: I hate to say it, but I see the economy and Trump’s agenda heading in the opposite direction within 12-months.  Economists I have spoken to disagree with my new assessment, but the numbers don’t add up for me.  I see a new grouping of Americans: (1) The super rich, (2) The barely making it to middle class, (3) The strugglers, (4) Those with little, (5) Those with nothing.

FROM JANIS
I wish The President would address the real issues. He is too obsessed with the “witch hunt” and Omarosa. I’m very concerned about the mid-terms. He is sometimes his own worst enemy. The media is a joke. I’m surrounded by Americans that don’t stay informed. I hope he gets back to health care, trade issues and immigration. We are doomed if the Democrats take over in November and he will be impeached. My relationships have changed drastically since trying to support this administration. The WSJ article hits home. Just venting. Thanks!
https://www.wsj.com/articles/a-looming-trade-lesson-1533854863

DML: For those who do not subscribe to the WSJ, it states that Trump’s tariffs are causing a job loss in manufacturing.  Here is what it reads in part:
Mr. Trump won a majority of votes in Union and Thomaston in 2016. Russ Ogle, a plant manager at Standard Textile’s Union facility, says the President’s proposed tariffs have left his workers feeling bewildered. “The mantra for the Trump election, the promises, were bring back jobs to the United States, and particularly, manufacturing jobs,” Mr. Ogle says, adding:

“We’re here trying to fight the battle, to be competitive against lower-wage-paying countries around the world. And this tariff and its possible consequences would be devastating—absolutely devastating. Not only the loss of income, but the senselessness of it. This policy creates an unfair advantage for companies that are sourcing finished products from overseas at the expense of American manufacturers and jobs. We aren’t asking for any handouts, just a level playing field.”

Hundreds of companies are asking similar questions as they cope with the harmful consequences of his tariffs that Donald Trump doesn’t like to talk about.

FROM SUSAN
This past weekend my husband and I took our hot air balloon to an event in Omaha, Nebraska. On Saturday night before the balloons inflated there were four sky divers. As they were coming down, their names and occupations were announced. The last one down had a big American flag attached to himself and was an ICE agent. As he was packing up, I walked onto the field to speak with him. When I asked him if he was the ICE agent, he bristled, said yes, and asked me if I had a gun. I assured him I did not, I just wanted to shake his hand and thank him for his service and what he did to protect us all. All the sky divers then came over to thank me for what I had done. Although I was happy with what I had done, I was also sad to know he lived in fear that some unhinged person would take his life for trying to protect theirs.  Picture is attached.  I also wanted you to know that we have one of your I Stand For the Flag bumper stickers on the bottom of our hot air balloon basket so people on the ground can see it.

DML: Yours is the photo of the day.
