I hope you share this briefing as doing so will make you the smartest person in the room, in my opinion. 1. Biden to announce $775 billion plan creating jobs for caregivers, early educators
The Hill reports: Former Vice President Joe Biden on Tuesday will propose a plan to stimulate the “caregiving economy” with tax credits for people who care for seniors, disabled people and children, according to multiple reports.
The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee’s speech in New Castle, Del., will also call for the construction of thousands of new child-care facilities. The Biden campaign estimated a price tag for his proposal of $775 billion over a decade, saying Biden would offset the costs by ending tax cuts for real estate investors who make over $400,000 and “increas[ing] tax compliance for high-income earners.”
The Biden campaign would put $450 billion towards clearing the backlog for those awaiting home and community services for Medicaid home and community services, CNN reported, with the campaign saying the more than 800,000 people on the waitlist are currently waiting up to five years.
DML: Translation…. here come the tax hikes on all classes making over $75k
2. Biden, at Muslim voters summit, says ‘I wish we taught more in our schools about the Islamic faith’
Fox News reports: Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden spoke to a summit of Muslim voters Monday, telling them he wished U.S. schools taught more about Islam.
“I wish we taught more in our schools about the Islamic faith. I wish we talked about all the great confessional faiths. It’s one of the great confessional faiths,” Biden said Monday at the “Million Muslim Votes” summit hosted by Emgage Action.
Biden told the voters he would end President Trump’s travel ban affecting Muslim-majority countries on day one of his presidency and blamed the White House’s current occupant for “an unconscionable rise in Islamophobia.”

DML: Really? I wish they’d allow God back into schools instead. But I am the crazy radical conservative your liberal friends hate. They’ll vote for Biden and get Allah. Not biggie, the libs love wearing masks already, so a full burqa won’t be a problem.
3. Video Shows Coordinated ‘Ambush’ On Chicago Police, Mayor Blames The Cops
LawOfficer reports: “Vigilantes” planned an “ambush” of police officers, leading to violence among activists and police at what was supposed to be a peaceful protest Friday in Grant Park, officials said Monday.
On Monday, the department said that the protest organizers knew that violence was planned. Mayor Lori Lightfoot refuted that claim and said “vigilantes” hijacked the peaceful protest.
The Chicago Police Department released a video they said shows people at the protest dressing in black, forming a phalanx with umbrellas and then throwing items at officers.
Police officials said the attack was a planned “ambush” of officers that left 49 injured, including one who had his eye socket broken and another who had his kneecap broken by thrown objects.

4. Body found in wreckage of pawnshop burned during George Floyd unrest
The Star Tribune reports: Authorities found the charred body of a man in the wreckage of a south Minneapolis pawnshop, nearly two months after the building was torched in the rioting that followed George Floyd’s death.
Investigators from the Minneapolis Police Department, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the state fire marshal’s division were acting on a tip when they discovered the body Monday morning in the rubble of Max It Pawn, at 2726 E. Lake St., according to Police Department spokesman John Elder.
“The body appears to have suffered thermal injury and we do have somebody charged with setting fire to that place,” said Elder, adding that city homicide detectives had taken over the investigation. He said that the victim’s identity would be released by medical examiners after an autopsy is completed, along with the precise cause and manner of death.

DML: Black Live Matter, unless of course it’s a black killing a black. And if you have a business, then you don’t matter regardless of your color. These domestic terrorists would be in jail if I was president. I would take whatever means possible to get it done. Tweets don’t stop crime.
5. $600 unemployment boost. Stimulus checks. Government relief is coming to an abrupt end
CNBC reports: Most of the relief measures included in the historic stimulus package Congress passed in March are coming to an end, even as the financial suffering of millions of Americans, and the virus to blame, shows no sign of abating.
Some 25 million Americans are receiving the additional $600 federal unemployment benefit established in the federal CARES Act, and the unemployment rate continues to rival Great Depression-era highs. Half of American households say they have lost income during the pandemic.
By July 31, people will stop receiving the $600 federal weekly unemployment checks. Yet the Congressional Budget Office expects jobless rates to stay elevated through 2021, and unemployment is still over 11%, with some areas especially hard hit.
DML: Tack on the media’s desire to pump up the COVID-19 cases and it’s the perfect storm. Another shutdown, massive unemployment, civil unrest and everyone taking a knee. Note to self… It”s time to short the stock market.
PARTING WORDS: I ran into a man yesterday who knew me from the days when I would sit across from Megyn Kelly at Fox and make tons of sense reporting the facts and selling the great American experience that would have been in place had I run and won the presidency in 2016. But I didn’t, so the man was talking to me about where things are today. “America is far from being great again,” he said. “Who is to blame,” I asked. He replied, “Everyone. Trump isn’t being tough enough, the Democrats are being overly radical, and the media is more dishonest than Putin. And the rest of us are falling in line like good little robots.” He had a point. I can’t help you with making America great again, and I can’t stop the Democrats from being radical or the media from lying. What I can do is help you afford the best CBD in the country.
