1 – President Trump calls for revisions in Covid relief spending bill – Pelosi, Schumer and Sanders respond
President Trump posted a video statement to Twitter Tuesday evening, calling for a revision in the massive government funding and coronavirus relief bill which the House and the Senate passed Monday night. He said “it’s called the COVID relief bill, but it has almost nothing to do with COVID.”

“A few months ago, Congress started negotiations on a new package to get urgently needed help to the American people. It’s taken forever. However, the bill they are now planning to send back to my desk is much different than anticipated. It really is a disgrace,” the president said.

In his video message, President Trump ripped the provisions of the bill to shreds, and demanded that Congress provide him with an amended bill. He slammed the massive amount of foreign aid included in the bill, the long list of wasteful spending, and the inclusion of stimulus checks for the family members of illegal aliens.

“I’m asking Congress to amend this bill and increase the ridiculously low $600 to $2,000, or $4,000 for a couple,” Trump said. “I’m also asking Congress to immediately get rid of the wasteful and unnecessary items from this legislation, and send me a suitable bill or else the next administration will have to deliver a Covid relief package… and maybe that next administration will be me,” he declared, adding, “And we will get it done.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Sen. Bernie Sanders  – all some of President Trump’s greatest critics – eagerly agreed with his proposal to increase the checks from $600 to $2,000. But none commented on his demands to “get rid of the wasteful and unnecessary items” from the bill.

DML: Get rid of all the foreign aid and the PORK!!

2 – Detroit suing Black Lives Matter activists for ‘civil conspiracy’
Fox News reports: The city of Detroit is trying a new tack during a year in which it, like many other U.S. cities, saw violent protests and destruction in the streets.

Detroit has filed a lawsuit against Black Lives Matter activists, alleging a “civil conspiracy” and claiming the protests in the city “have repeatedly turned violent, endangering the lives of police and the public,” according to reports.

The city claims the activists participated in the conspiracy, “defamed” the mayor and police, and contends that the city should be awarded damages, The Intercept reported.

The city cites four protests that occurred in the city this year, and alleges that injuries to police officers included “cracked vertebrae, lacerations, and concussions,” according to the report.

DML: Every city should sue Black Lives Matter for the chaos and destruction they caused!

3 – Conservatives Ask Congressional Republicans to Pursue Joe Biden’s Bank Records
Breitbart reports: Several leading conservatives are renewing their call for Joe Biden to release his banking records to prove he has no link to Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings — and they are asking congressional Republicans to demand Biden come clean.

In an open letter to Republican members of Congress on Monday, the conservatives — George Landrith, president of Frontiers of Freedom; Richard Manning, president of Americans for Limited Government; Andrew Langer, president of the Institute for Liberty; Seton Motley, president of Less Government; Horace Cooper, co-chairman of Project 21; Saul Anuzis, president of 60 Plus; and Dick Patten, president of the American Business Defense Council — asked Republicans to treat President-elect Joe Biden exactly as House Democrats have treated President Donald Trump.

The letter reads, in part:

Joe Biden has said he wants to unite the nation behind his leadership. If he is serious about that, he must understand the value of removing any reasonable doubt about whether he was selling American foreign policy to the Chinese and other foreign interests.

It is worth noting that the attempt by the Democrat House to hound President Trump for his tax returns has gone on even though there is no evidence he did anything wrong and even though he has filed every financial disclosure required by law. They’ve basically admitted that it is just a fishing expedition. But the questions about Joe Biden’s and his family’s newly acquired wealth are not simply a fishing expedition. There is ample proof to make the questions well founded and worthy of immediate answers.

DML: And if Joe won’t turn it over, what’s HE hiding?

4 – Future Biden Education Secretary Oversaw Creation of Critical Theory Class for High Schoolers
Free Beacon reports: Joe Biden’s likely pick for education secretary helped create a mandated, statewide minority-studies course that “analyze[s] how race, power, and privilege influence group access to citizenship, civil rights, and economic power.”

Miguel Cardona, the current Connecticut commissioner of education, played a key role in creating the curriculum for Connecticut’s required course in African-American, Black, Puerto Rican, and Latino studies. The curriculum supposedly helps students “consider the scope of African American/Black and Puerto Rican/Latino contributions to U.S. history, society, economy, and culture” and is rooted in “critical race theory,” which claims that America is intrinsically racist. As the state’s commissioner of education, Cardona oversees all educational programming.

On Dec. 2, the Connecticut State Board of Education unanimously approved the curriculum for the mandatory course, which students will be required to take beginning in the fall of 2022. The curriculum is only mandatory for high school students, though other K-8 school systems are also changing their curricula along similar lines.

Hearing Youth Voices, a left-wing activist group that works to integrate “political education and theory” into public schools, helped develop the curriculum with Cardona. Hearing Youth Voices hosts a slew of diversity training sessions, including one that claims “capitalism is at the root of white supremacy, patriarchy, police brutality, the school-to-prison pipeline and so much more.” Other training courses call for police abolition and refer to Israel as a police state.

DML: This is an outrage!

5 – Some NYC restaurants consider move to ban Cuomo, de Blasio if indoor dining shutdown isn’t lifted
Fox News reports: New York City restaurants owners are considering banning Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio from eating at their establishments — a move to hit back against the latest restrictions banning indoor dining during the frigid winter months as well as constantly shifting rules during the coronavirus pandemic that have forced business owners to pay out of pocket with little government assistance.

Michael Quinn, whose family owns Coney Island’s famous Feltman’s hot dog brand, told Fox News thousands of restaurants were contemplating the ban to give “a taste of their own medicine” to politicians, whom he says have enacted restrictions that go against science. Less than 2% of cases can be traced to indoor dining, compared to the 70% traced to households and small gatherings, according to New York state.

Though he does not currently own a restaurant, Quinn — a lifetime New Yorker from Brooklyn — started the Facebook group “NYC Restaurants Open” in March to create a space for business owners to communicate. Describing himself as a liberal Democrat who voted for Cuomo, Quinn said he did not create the group to be political — but now the governor and mayor have gone too far.

“I came up with this motto — if we can’t feed our families, we certainly won’t feed yours,” Quinn said. “These people need to survive and they spend thousands of dollars doing what they need to do. They’re just not going to make it. And it’s not about politics at this point — whether you’re left or right or conservative or Democrat. It’s economic Darwinism at this point. It’s survival of the fittest.”

DML: Every restaurant in NY should permanently ban Cuomo and de Blasio!

  1. These idiots in Congress just continue to astound me day in and day out. They had months and months to get a deal done. The wicked witch of the west (aka Fancy Nancy) and her merry band of morons couldn’t negotiate their way out of a wet paper bag. They stalled and stalled and stalled and stalled and stalled to prevent Trump from receiving ant potential accolades from a bill or signing any checks. They turned down a much larger bill. Now they come with this abject garbage bill. The President rightfully said get this crap off my desk. It’s just absurd what we have to be subjected to with these circus clowns.

  2. These idiots forget they work for us and not these special interests overseas and here in the US. All of these places in the US are closed now. But their “special friends” it is not the $2k that we are complaining about it is all of the other “ PORK”. We don’t want. My question why we can’t we ever do a bill without the pork? If they don’t agree then VETO this bill!! Any republicans that go against Trump needs to go!

  3. What about $1800 going to illegals! What about the part of the Bill making streaming ban illegal? WTF! These people in Congress are EVIL POS!

  4. Thank God! President Trump stands up to this horrendous Pork infested bill that only helps Foreign countries! America First! When I first saw the $600 my heart sank! I was so depressed that all had been lost! I’m all in for the $2,000, this increase will lift hurting American’s to at least give them some hope that things will get better! I can sure use it, and people who don’t care about getting the funds, give yours to a homeless person living on the streets, a Veteran, a Police Officer, Fireman, Truck Driver, Postal worker, Nurse, Ambulance driver…all essential workers in the medical field keeping us safe and healthy, retail workers filling the shelves in grocery stores, pharmacy clerks, Seniors! I can think of many others, but, you get my point! Congress and Politicians have forgotten compassion for the American people, they are more interested in helping Foreign countries! I cannot wrap my head around this disgraceful bill! Who does this to their own country? I am ashamed of the politicians and Congress. I hope President Trump does not sign this, and follows through on his words! I fear that even if he Vetos this bill Congress will reject it! I’m proud of President Trump! Even though I do not like his redderick at times and some “tweets”, and I don’t always agree with him, he has proven to be a leader of a nation of laws and puts America first. He has fought for us the last four years. No President should be treated with such “disrespect” as he has.

  5. i am not interested to educate my 12 year old of hispanic education programs ways in USA we are happy to immigrate in this country to learned americans ways not hispanic ,!puerto rico way ..,i wish this Maniac Biden and who’re kamala by the help of republicans on Jan 6 will never be a president of this country..

  6. It’s not just about any relief amount though! I don’t want MY taxpayer dollars going to other countries, and especially not in the BILLIONS for anything that is not emergency aid! Period!

Just upping the amount to 2k is not enough of a fix! The rest of that needs to be SCRAPPED! The amounts proposed to go to other countries is disgusting!
