1 – Girlfriend warned Nashville police Anthony Warner was building bomb a year ago
The Tennessean reports: Sixteen months before Anthony Quinn Warner’s RV exploded in downtown Nashville on Christmas morning, officers visited his home in Antioch after his girlfriend reported that he was making bombs in the vehicle, according to documents obtained by The Tennessean.
On Friday, 63-year-old Warner blew up a city block, police say, about 6:30 a.m. on Second Avenue outside an AT&T switch facility. The bomb caused massive destruction to 41 downtown buildings and crippled telecommunication systems throughout the Southeast over the weekend.
In the aftermath, The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Warner was “not on our radar” prior to the bombing. But a Metro Nashville Police Department report from August 2019 shows that local and federal authorities were aware of alleged threats he had made.
On Aug. 21, 2019, the girlfriend told Nashville police that Warner “was building bombs in the RV trailer at his residence,” the MNPD report states. Nashville police then forwarded the information to the FBI.
Police went to Warner’s home, but the RV was parked inside a fence. They saw “several security cameras and wires attached to a alarm sign on the front door.” The officers also said, “They saw no evidence of a crime and had no authority to enter his home or fenced property.”
The Nashville police sent the information to the FBI, who reported they had nothing on Warner in their database and all checks on him were negative. Police claim Warner’s attorney refused to allow them to interview him or search the RV. The attorney denies that allegation.
DML: Well, this adds a whole new level of outrage over this case!
2 – Watch: Joe Biden Calls Kamala Harris ‘President-Elect’
Joe Biden and his gaffes are still continuing. On Tuesday, he referred to Kamala Harris as “president-elect,” which is not the first time he has referred to her in the top role instead of himself.
Biden made the flub-up while giving a speech about the coronavirus pandemic in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware. He was pushing for people to take the Covid-19, and noted that Harris had just taken her that day.
“I hope the president will clearly and unambiguously urge all Americans to take the vaccine once it’s available. I took it to instill public confidence in the vaccine. President-elect Harris took hers today for the same reason,” Biden declared.

3 – Massachusetts lowers age for abortions without parental consent
Fox News reports: Massachusetts’ legislature overrode its Republican governor’s veto of a bill on Tuesday that expanded abortion access in a variety of ways, including allowing 16-year-old girls to obtain abortions without parental consent.
Passed earlier this month, the bill codified the landmark decision in Roe v. Wade and allows abortions after 24 weeks if the child isn’t expected to survive after birth. Gov. Charlie Baker said that while he agreed with some of the bill’s provisions, he couldn’t get behind one that lowered the age of consent from 18 to 16 years of age for obtaining the procedure.
Baker told lawmakers he supported the provision allowing abortions at 24 weeks and eliminating a 24-hour waiting period. “However, I cannot support the sections of this proposal that expand the availability of later term abortions and permit minors age 16 and 17 to get an abortion without the consent of a parent or guardian,” he reportedly said.
NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts director Rebecca Hart Holder cheered, “Today the legislature fundamentally changed how women & pregnant people access repro healthcare in MA. Today gender equality took a massive step forward.”

4 – Mob of teens on bicycles attacks car in Manhattan, NY
Twitter user Dr. Daniel J. Winarick posted two videos on Twitter on Tuesday, of an incident he says happened earlier in the day in Manhattan.
Winarick writes that the mob of 25-50 teenagers on BMX bicycles descended onto the streets. Two of the teens grabbed onto a car driving by. The videos show the whole mob attacking the car, banging on the windows, jumping onto the windshield, and throwing their bikes onto the car.
East 20s, #Manhattan, New York, earlier today. ~25 – 50 mixed-age teenagers on BMX bicycles descend onto the streets. Two grab onto a car driving by to catch a ride. 5 – New Analysis Finds Mask Mandates Not Stopping CCP Virus Surge
The Epoch Times: There may be more effective interventions to control the spread of the CCP virus in the United States and elsewhere than government-ordered mask mandates, the authors of a new study say.
The 25 U.S. counties with the highest number of officially reported cases of CCP virus, which causes the disease COVID-19, have rigorous mask mandates in place, as do 97 of the top 100, according to the study by the Heritage Foundation.
“From October 1 through December 13, the U.S. saw an increase of 8.8 million confirmed COVID-19 cases,” the conservative foundation’s Center for Data Analysis (CDA) reported in a study made public on Dec. 27.
“Of the 25 counties with the highest new case totals, all 25 had a mask mandate, and all but one implemented their directive prior to October; 21 of the 25 counties implemented mandates prior to August,” the CDA study said.
“Of the 100 counties with the most confirmed cases during this period, 97 had either a county-level mask mandate, a state-level mandate, or both,” CDA said.
