When you do what I do for a living, all the crazy stories about the Left start to blend into each other, and it makes for one huge headache.  The easiest way to combat the pain is to ignore it all and focus on something else. I try to do this, I really do, but it’s an impossible attempt on my part.  I say this for two reasons.

The first reason is because the stories never stop.  All day long, I am smothered by liberal hate and progressive nonsense.  It’s more painful than chewing on glass.  But I’m in the news business, and therefore I cannot ignore our responsibilities — we must report it all.

The second reason is because the liberal stupidity, and the progressive hatred is growing like a weed. The media outlets who spit on President Trump are watering the weed on a minute by minute basis. Rachel Maddow at MSNBC, Jake Tapper at CNN, the New York Times, the Washington Post… the list of haters is long.  Crazy liberals digest the fake news that comes from these outlets, and then they go out and do something stupid like shoot Republican lawmakers at a baseball practice.

The anti-Trump message is growing so rapidly that even when I am not working, which is rare, I am confronted by the insane hatred because the “resistance” is everywhere.

Case in point, yesterday while driving home from work, I got stuck driving behind a woman on a one-lane highway.  She was driving erratically — swerving back and forth.  Furthermore, she was driving 20mph in a 35mph speed zone.

At that point I had been in the car for 90-minutes.  I was hot, hungry, and I had to go to the bathroom something terrible — I just wanted to get home.

Trying to send a polite message, I close in on the woman and that’s when I see her bumper stickers. One sticker touts Clinton / Kaine 2016.  The other one reads, “I’m with the resistance.”  Underscoring the proud headline is a call to action: ” Defeat Trump’s agenda.”  Suddenly, I am super upset and feel as if I need to say something to this woman.

My plan was to ask her what it means exactly to “defeat Trump’s agenda.”  Then I wanted to know how she felt about the last person who posted a stupid message like hers — meaning, I wanted to get her reaction to the shooter in DC who said Trump and company needed to be destroyed.

I pull up next to her at a traffic light and I am blown away by what I see.

She has her left hand on the wheel.  Her right hand is holding her cellphone — she is speaking into it. On her lap is her dog.

Clearly, the dog is impeding her ability to drive,  and so is her talking on the phone. Livid, I skip over my political questions and yell at this woman to put down her phone.  Immediately, she drops the phone and puts her hand on the wheel.  Then I ask her to get the dog off her lap — she’s going to kill someone.

Guilty, she pushes the dog onto the passenger seat.  Then the dog begins barking at me like a member of the maniac Left.  I shouted back, “shut up Hillary.”  When the light turned green she turned left and I drove home.  Thankfully, I got in the door safely and minutes before my bladder was about to burst.

These “resistance types” are a complete mess and a detriment to normal people.  For example, the woman in the car is going to end up killing someone with her petting the dog while texting and driving routine.  But make no mistake, she’ll somehow blame the tragedy on Trump.
