I know I am not alone when I say the president had to knock it over the fence tonight. Thankfully, he did just that!
President Trump looked presidential, he sounded presidential, and, as far as I am concerned, he scored a near perfect 10. Let’s go with a 9.97, simply so we leave room for growth.
His delivery was spot on. His words were powerful, convincing, and concise. If he continues with this sort of positive message, professional style, grace, love of country, and strong leadership, America will certainly be great again.
I loved his comments about immigration based on talent, border security, and rebuilding the military. I doubly loved his vow to keep the promise of making America great again by putting the needs of American citizens first.
He addressed job creation, stock market values, draining the swamp of corruption, building the wall, crushing Islamic terror, and ridding of ridiculous regulations. He talked about a new healthcare program that includes insurance for everyone and costs far less than ObamaCare. He wants to reduce taxes for companies and individuals. I love, love, love it!
I was happy to hear him address hate crimes and the issues in Chicago. I loved the announcement of a new office to help families who have lost family members to illegal aliens.
He called for unity between parties. Amen.
I was blown away — in a positive way — to hear that he now has deregulation task forces being placed within every government agency. How cool is that?
There was so much to be excited about this evening — no matter what side of the aisle you sit on.
Who doesn’t love the idea of developing jobs that pay higher wages? Who in their right mind doesn’t want to protect the borders, and to ensure our military is robust? I mean, who didn’t like to hear about the crackdown on drugs and drug cartels? I wonder what moderate liberals were thinking tonight when the Democrats they voted into Congress refused to clap for many of the great things mentioned by the president.
I found it touching when the widow of Navy SEAL Ryan Owens was given a standing ovation after the president said his memory and bravery is etched into eternity. The tears on her face say so much about what the men and women of our military sacrifice each day.
When the president touched on the topic of foreign relations, he showed equal parts strength, compassion, and prudence.
If President Trump stays focused, and if he demands his agenda be supported by this Republican-filled Congress, then I assure you his support from all Americans in 2020 will reflect that of President Reagan’s when he ran for a second term, decades ago.
Great, great, great speech tonight. No fake news mentions. No wild sound bites for the liberal media outlets to run with tomorrow. He forces them to focus on policy tonight and tomorrow, and that’s how he beats the mainstream media. If he makes them focus on the issues, then he controls the narrative.
I loved this speech so, so, so, so much. Very proud of my president and his team.
