Dear President Trump,
“It is not what you say but how you say it” and most things, tweets, are best unspoken. Whether or not your tweets are true or personally deemed necessary, many of your tweet are personal attacks that are cold hearted and inappropriate. If you truly desire respect and support from the American people and our allies and the ability to work with your party and across the aisle you need to reframe from posting mean spirited tweets.
As a Trump supporter, I do not mind tweets that are informative and clarify your position on an issue but personal attacks are demeaning, disrespectful and do little or no good. In reality your tweets that are personal attacks do little to advance your promised agenda or garner the respect of any respectful citizen or ally.
I understand the media is unfairly covering you and your family. However, your response is unbecoming of a grown man in a position of political power and influence. Like I told our daughter whom was undeservingly bullied, turn your cheek, say nothing and show no emotion as it gives the bully (in your case the MSM) great satisfaction to see you suffer and your reaction will be the catalyst for the bully to continue her attacks.
Mr. President, your emotional tweets and response to your bullies, the mainstream media, provides them unnecessary airtime to continue their tirades against you, taking away from much needed awareness and coverage of what is truly important to the American voter; Healthcare, Immigration, The Wall, Education, Fair Trade Agreements, Jobs, “Draining the Swamp,” Voter Reform, Term Limits and Tax Reform.
If you continue with your condescending tweets I am afraid that you will lose many supporters that helped you win the election. “We are judged by the company we keep”, I for one want to first and foremost align myself with someone that is respectful, knowledgeable , hardworking and demonstrates self control. You demonstrate many of these characteristics but your personal attacks and tweets show little respect or self control. Your tweets are undermining your pledge to the American people and cast a dark shadow on our Great Country and or those that voted for you.
Your most beneficial tweets are those that provide us with facts, an overall view of your daily schedule, progress in advancing your agenda, updates on Department happenings, and heartfelt support and thanks to our troops and veterans and those that Make America Great Again.
Please remember you are a leader and a representative of the United States of America, of all its people, your actions and tweets are a reflection on our Great Nation.
Blessings and Best Regards,
