Dennis Michael Lynch received a subpoena late Monday night from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The notice reads as follows:
Dennis Michael Lynch:
You are being served a US District Court for the District of Nevada subpoena to testify at a hearing or trial in a criminal case. Reference the attached subpoena and notice to witness information.
DML is being called to testify in the case brought against the Bundy family for events that took place in Nevada in 2014.
On that day, the Bundy family and hundreds of supporters went face to face with federal agents from the Bureau of Land Management over a land dispute.
DML was in Nevada covering the event for The Kelly File on the Fox News Channel.
DML ended up playing a key role in calming a situation minutes before it potentially turned deadly. As seen in the interview between Megyn Kelly and DML below, DML stepped in between the government and the protesters when it appeared as if gunfire was about to start.
“You acted as a mediator?”, asked Kelly. “I’m tired of seeing Americans fight with each other, it shouldn’t be like this”, said DML.
With machine guns pointed at his face, DML urged the BLM to put the guns down and speak to the Bundy family.
After a 10-minute nail-biting debate between the BLM and DML, the BLM finally sent a representative to speak with the Bundy family.
Ultimately, DML helped bring both sides together in a non-violent manner. The event ended without a single shot fired. Thankfully, no injuries or deaths occurred.
The Bundy family faces multiple charges for their participation in the events on the day. DML will testify in February.
