DML: I Reply to 3 Interesting Emails Sent to Me

Each day, I receive thousands of comments and emails. Below are three of them from the past 24-hours, and the response I’ve given to each. NOTE: I do not include the last name of the sender unless they explicitly request that I do so.  IF YOU WANT ME TO RESPOND TO YOUR MESSAGE, SEND IT THROUGH THE SUBMIT NEWS PAGE.

FROM Holly C.:
Hi Dennis, I am curious about what I heard on BBC radio today. Is was about DHS Sec. Kelly stating they will not use military force to remove illegals, but then they play Trumps response to the issue and he basically said they are using force.  Can you help me to understand this ? Thanks for all you do.

DML: Holly, I often talk about President Trump not realizing how his tweets, and his off-the-cuff remarks, can send shock waves through communities, countries, groups, businesses, stock markets, etc. This is one of those times.

At 70-years old, he is stuck speaking like he does. I don’t think there is any ill intent or malice on his part, but he often exaggerates about things, or he’ll tell a story to drive home a point — and the story isn’t always 100% accurate. He’ll mix words and stats, etc.

When he does this, not only does he send shock waves, but he gives the press ammunition to shoot at him, and he puts his team on clean up duty. Sec. Kelly was on clean up duty, and so was Sean Spicer, as both men have tried to fix the comments made by the president. In his briefing, Spicer said President Trump wasn’t speaking literally when he described his deportation push as a “military operation.”  “The president was using that as an adjective. It is happening with precision,” Spicer said, adding that “the president was clearly describing the manner in which this is being done.”

Bottom line: There will be no military raids on illegal aliens in the U.S.

FROM Chuck J.:
This breaking news! Mike Adams from was just banned by Google! AdRoll took Alex Jones advertising away costing AJ to loose 3 Million! Someone called Mike Adams and offered 50k to Mike to take down Alex Jones. Mike Adams turned it down and the next thing that happened was taken down! Here is David Hodges and Mike Adams talk about how censorship from the left is taking hold.

DML: Sorry Chuck, but this is anything but breaking news. I’ve never heard of Mike Adams or the website you mentioned. Furthermore, I am not shocked at all by what took place with AdRoll and Jones.

Advertisers are very specific about where they advertise and where they do not. I am sure AdRoll got lots of complaints about being on his website. That said, I don’t watch Jones, I never have. I have seen a few clips of him over the years, but that’s it. He appears to have a very loyal audience. But, from what I have been told, his style and format are based on selling fear. To be exact, one person who I trust at Fox News once said to me: “In Jones’ world, the world is always falling.” Whether that is true or not is not my job to decide. I worry about DML only, and our team is dedicated to reporting on things we know are true, that we can confirm are valid, and that I can stamp my name on without worrying about losing credibility. Everything we reported about before and during the election turned out to be true. We told audiences not to worry about Jill Stein, we told you not to worry about the electoral college, etc., etc. Each time, we were correct. I have never once been nailed for spreading false information, or “fake news,” as they call it.

There are no-name sites out there who bucket us with “fake news,” but, the last time I checked, that really was me in Dearborn, and it really was me at the border, and it really was me in the bad lands of Chicago; every story we publish is backed up by a similar story told by no less than two major news outlets (Fox, WSJ, AP, Reuters, NYT, BBC). And, as a side note, we’ve received an abundance of emails asking if George Soros has been arrested for hate crimes against America. The emails include links to websites I have never heard of before. I suggest, on news like that, people go to major news outlets for confirmation. If a person like Soros is arrested, it will make headlines.

FROM Ethel T.:
DML, You mentioned that you are no longer watching Fox News.  I am pretty much done with them too.  O’Reilly should go out while he is still somewhat on top.  Fox & Friends is about it.  Hard to believe they have become so bad.  Nothing left to watch.  It is all news feeds now and everyone wants you to subscribe.  Makes you crazy.  I am sticking with DML.  Can’t wait for you to be up and running!  I am counting on you not being a disappointment on down the road.  Hard to believe but I started out with Chris Mathews years ago. Duh? Switched to O’Reilly. So boring now with the same thing and people all the time.  Jessie Watters isn’t enough to keep him afloat.  Thank God for you and hope I won’t need to switch again. It should be a growing relationship.  We have grown but Fox hasn’t!   Such a shame!

DML: The great thing about Fox News is that it’s often the only alternative to the crazy liberal news reporting over at MSNBC, CNN, and the big three. The bad thing about Fox News is that it’s often the only alternative to the crazy liberal news reporting over at MSNBC, CNN, and the big three.

Over the years, I’ve had the good fortune to be in the back rooms of various news networks, including Fox. I communicate with the producers and hosts to this day. Nice people, for the most part (you mentioned one person who is a complete buttock), but what I don’t like is how they dictate what you see and what you do not see. One of these days I will provide deeper insight as to what that actually means by citing a few examples which will surely upset you, but, for now, I ask you to take my word for it. Bottom line, Fox likes to call out the “elite media,” but the problem is they too are the elite media — they just do not want to admit it.
