DML: I Reply to 3 Interesting Emails You Sent Me

Each day, I receive thousands of messages and emails. Below are three of them from the past 24 hours, and the response I’ve given to each. NOTE: I do not include the last name of the sender unless they explicitly request that I do so.

1) From Carol:
Ryan should not be trusted!  He has been wanting the plan to take place and it should not!  Repeal Obama care.  Start from scratch — not with something Ryan was working on.  He was NOT campaigning and NOT supporting President Trump.

DML: From the sound of your email, you’re blaming “it” all on Ryan. Keep in mind, nobody is twisting President Trump’s arm to support this healthcare bill. He is pushing for it hard on his own.

If you don’t keep the president accountable — if you just pawn everything off on Ryan and the establishment — the American people will lose. You must hold the president’s feet to the fire. He made the promises to you, not Paul Ryan. I was disappointed to see him yesterday on Capitol Hill pushing GOP members to sign the bill. He’s made an epic failure here. You should tell him such.

2) From Rosanne:

Hi Dennis, I watch you everyday, I’m on your app all day – and I always appreciate and always know that I’m getting the truth. Love that you tweeted Trump, I’ve done the same thing multiple times not that I expect him to read it — lol — so frustrating! The reason for this email is simple because it’s one question. I’m not being sarcastic or disrespectful,  but I always hear that you have a great track record in being right a lot.  So can tell me based on his almost 60 days as President do you think you were wrong about Pres. Trump?

Trust me I know it’s early – but they say the first 100 days are crucial to his Presidency . I personally feel that Ivanka will be a great advisor for Trump. But should we really have to rely on a the President’s daughter to keep him focused and calm? I just don’t know, that sounds scary to me. I really want him to succeed. I really do but honestly I think between the politicians and his ego- he doesn’t have a chance! Thank you. Rosanne

DML: Roseanne, thanks for the email and support. Yes, I am concerned. This healthcare bill and the way he’s approached it scares me some. If he does not get the support of his own party, which I believe will be the case, he will have a hard time getting things done.

He really made a bad misstep here. Perhaps if he worried less about Arnold’s TV ratings and what poll CNN is putting forward next, he’d have dodged this bullet. Who knows… Unfortunately, I am not in his inner circle —although I should be. I am not shy in saying so. If Trump would circle himself with DML, Laura Ingraham, and Rudy Giuliani, everything would be turned around real fast for as long as he listened to our concerns and suggestions. Keep Kellyanne Conway, too.

His campaign promises were strong, and they were based on making America great again. And, although I have not given up on him by any means, I know how this stuff works, and his job is about to get harder. So, to your question, am I wrong about Trump? No. I knew his ego was as big as his talents. Problem is, there is more ego than talent at this moment. I hope he can turn it around soon. Ivanka will help. But even that statement has alarm bells, per your point. I say we keep the faith but, at the same time, keep him accountable.

3) From Tiffany:

I use to watch everyday for months. I love the real news, but you seem really negative these days and I can’t watch anymore. Good luck to you and the DML team. I will check in from time to time. Have a great day!

DML: When you return, I will remain as is. I can’t make the weather, I can only report it. You want me to tell you it’s sunny when it’s raining. I won’t do that. Stay well, and keep that hair covered. 🙂
