I’m with you DML on the North Korea issue and each day I get a little more concerned about what will happen with all these missiles and nukes. We face a real challenge with KIM because he’s a total nut case who appears to be willing to destroy whatever he can whenever he can. Thanks for posting the poll because I want more information soon!
DML: I don’t expect the president to give us a military road map to how exactly we’ll take this guy down, but the desire / need to know about our own safety amid such uncertain times is not an unreasonable request. For example, had Americans known how vulnerable we were to a 9/11 attack before 9/11, more people like myself would have voiced major concerns and demands for change. On a side note, one aspect of being a strong leader is to make people feel safe.
Holy sh*t!!!! You have been at the front of so many issues and events it boggles the mind. You’ve been calling for a deeper look into the Muslims of America for how long now? The article today about the weapons found in Islamberg scares the crap out of me. You are right again DML. Are you tired of being right all the time? LOL. God bless you on this Independence Day.
DML: That report rattled me too, but I am not shocked whatsoever. Our country is in trouble. Everyone in DC, and everyone in the media…. they are all focused on BS.
DML, doggone it, you are still upset about Trump’s tweets and it’s going to affect your health. You said you were going to leave it alone, but you’re not. You’re still focusing on the tweets thru others. What has happened to you? Something is not right and you seem to be off track. Maybe it’s bcuz you don’t feel well. But something’s up. I’ll continue to remember you in prayer bcuz I believe all hell may be breaking loose against you, too.
DML: I thank you for the warning about all hell breaking loose against me. I will be sure to wear my anti-Devil deflector shield this week, although I am out of batteries. On a more serious note, there are 5 stages of grieving: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. I will use the stages as a framework for the following statement about my take on Trump’s tweets:
“I couldn’t believe some of the tweets at first, and then they started to make me angry because I saw it hurting the administration and the American people long term in the sense the tweets will make it harder for the president to get things done in DC. I tried bargaining with the president by sending him letters and emails, and I sort of got a little depressed when he continued to continue with the silly and unneeded blasts. But I have come to accept what I know is true… he will tweet until the day he leaves office, be it in 4 years or in 8. What happens between then I cannot control, and thus I will not allow it to bother me.”
I have my feelings about the tweets and where they lead down the road. I have made them very vocal, and they stand on record. My voice in this specific area is no longer needed. At the same time, like all news outlets big and small, Team DML will report on the tweets because it’s a major part of his presidency. Therefore, I see no foul in giving a voice to our readers who flood my inbox with their opinions about the tweets. I’ve always gone the extra mile to publish the comments and letters from our readers. Right now, people are focused on the tweets. Maybe next week it will be North Korea, who knows? Either way, we are the same organization, and I am the same person we’ve always been. Unbiased, unafraid, and unapologetic. If you or anyone else wants to be soothed with bias, then I am probably not your guy long term. If you decide to leave us, I understand and respect that choice — you’re always welcomed back.
As for my health, I’m making the correct adjustments and will hope all turns out OK. Keep in mind that even if Twitter were to shut down Trump’s account, I would still have to deal with the reality I face here at home. I thank you for the concern.
