FROM LORI
Why do you think President Trump hasn’t implemented e-verify?  Can’t it be done by executive order?  Yesterday a friend of ours was involved in an accident.  He is 86 years old and lives in Arizona.  Even though he was at fault, the other driver told him he’d be back in 10 minutes and never came back.  My guess is he was an illegal alien.  Very concerning.

DML: He could try to implement it via executive order, but he doesn’t need to.  In fact, if he was smart about this he’d ask a top immigration hawk with power in Congress, lets say Rep. King from Iowa, to consider the quick and easy creation of a bill stating e-Verify is mandatory in all 50-states. King then puts it to the floor and we see who doesn’t vote for it.  Any GOP lawmaker who voted no should be gone in the next election.  Same goes for the senate.  I would suspect the bill would pass in both the Senate and the House. That said, unfortunately, I cannot answer your question.  The president vowed to stop illegal immigration, and yet the two areas where he could have taken immediate steps have been overlooked.  The first is e-Verify, the second is DACA.  Meanwhile, the illegal aliens are cranking out work and hanging at the Home Depots.

I am sorry for your friend’s accident.

FROM CHARLES
DML, I took the poll this morning and I graded the president’s speech an A+ because his calling out of Russia sticks a pin in the hot air balloon floated by the liberals.

DML:  I give the speech an A+.  He was fantastic.  I feel like it Ground Hogs Day.  We lived this a month ago when he went to the Middle East.  If he could just bottle himself when he travels and bring it back to the US, we’d be singing Dixie on a daily basis and the “fake news” would have nothing to complain about.

FROM MELISSA
I know you’re not feeling well and I do not want to appear cold but is there any chance you can do a “sit and talk”?????  It’s been more than a week since we seen you last appeared on a Walk & Talk and so much is going on in the news.  You do the daily ON THIS DAY video but for those of us who rely on seeing you each day it sure would be nice to have you for at least 30 minutes talking from the kitchen table with Mary.  I also want to say you’re best delivery of news is when you are alone in the house or on the streets.  I turned off the other people you had fill in for you from time to time. I found them to be dull and boring.  This house loves DML!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DML:  Sure thing Melissa.  I will do one today and will give a little bit of insight as to what I am battling physically.  Not sure what time, but I promise I will do one today.
