1) From Laurie:
It’s 2am in Boca Raton Florida. I am a disabled 52 year old woman, that just feels like I need to get something off my chest!!! I do understand how this country ended up the way it did, but it really seams like it’s hopeless beyond repair. I am so glad I was raised in the 70’s before the computer generation changed our way of living.
I always liked Donald Trump. I remember different talk shows he was on through the years and he always seemed like he really cared about the way this country was headed. I really feel that he will do great things for us, But I don’t think he’s gonna be able to fight every little nit picky thing the left throws at him. Of course I pray he does!! I am glad I’m middle aged, because I would hate being a millennial right now. I’m not strong enough to weather through the peer pressure I’d be under!! I am so glad I didn’t have children, because I would hate the fact that they would have to live in this country the way it has become. I love that someone is finally going to bring us honest news. I will only listen to you, because I really don’t have time to decide what to believe and what not to. Thank you, and your wonderful crew!!! Laurie C
DML: Welcome to my world — sleepless nights when the trains of thought race through the brain from every direction.
I was born in ’69, and I tell my kids all the time that the era I grew up in was much better than today. Sure, we had to get up from the sofa to change the channel on the TV, and there wasn’t a whole lot to watch, but, aside from that, everything else about years ago was so much better than today.
As for Trump, if he stays focused on the big picture and puts pressure on the GOP to support his agenda, we’ll see some things turn around for the better. But honestly, the great place we grew up in — the times when you had to be home when the street lights turned on — riding bicycles to your friend’s house after you delivered newspapers after school — music that offered lyrics that actually told a story — being able to understand what the clerk is saying at the local ‘stop-and-shop’ — kids having respect for their elders — and GI Joe being the toy of choice…. those days are over, and that’s what made America great, nobody can bring that back. Sadly…
2) From Patricia: Enjoyed meeting Tracy on her first Walk & Talk. Missed you but love the format of your app. Can get the truth with just a click 24/7. I decide which articles I want to read without the spin. It would be nice to meet more of your writers in the future. You are developing a great news network. All the supporters that are not realizing the time and effort you are putting into giving us a truthful network whether we hear good news or bad news from the Trump administration are blinded to the purpose of what constitutes ethical journalism. Continue to make us an informed American voter. Patricia
DML: I have great faith in my crew. Anneta and Harlan do a great job pulling it all together from the top. Believe it or not, I have not watched Tracy’s Walk & Talk. I was testifying at the Bundy trial while it happened. But her writing is so strong, that when she suggested she do a report from D.C., I said “sure.” I had complete confidence she’d pull it off. I appreciate all the feedback we get from our viewers and readers, good and bad. It enables us, and empowers us, to improve. Thanks, Patricia
3) From Jeannie:
Dear Dennis, I just want to thank you for being in court in Las Vegas. It means so much to Cliven, Ammon, Ryan, Mel, Dave Bundy and “all” of our Patriots.
The courts are so corrupt and their idea is to keep these men in prison as long as possible. Even though, “Guilty Until Proven Innocent” instead of “Innocent Until Proven Guilty!” Many are my friends and I’m proud to stand with them. And stand for “LaVoy Finicum” and his family after his assassination between Burns, Oregon and John Day, Oregon. One thing I know, Cliven and his boys (men) and the Patriots need to go home to their families and their lives. They have suffered enough at the orders from Obama and Nevada’s dirty Harry Reid! God bless you Dennis and we all love you. I have missed your news, but am now hooked up to you again. Mighty prayers for you and for your protection. Stay safe and be aware, but ‘God’s hedge of protection’ is prayed all around you.
Very sincerely, Jeannie V.
DML: All I did was tell the story as it happened that day. I appreciate the kind words and prayers.
