1) From Tricia P:
Hi Dennis. Seeing people homeless breaks my heart. It just doesn’t seem fair that there is all this senseless gov’t spending when there are so many grateful homeless people it can help instead. I was curious if you had thought about any promising solutions to this crisis, you know, if you were president what would you do? Thank you for everything you do! Trish P., Grand Island NY
DML: I assume you are referring to the video we posted yesterday from San Diego. The fact that we are allowing people to live in tents on the sidewalk is just crazy. For the human beings living like this, it goes beyond unhealthy. For the people in the surrounding areas who have to drive or walk through those areas, it’s unsightly, dirty, and a drain on property value.
Some of these folks are strung out on drugs, while others are just so far down on their luck that there is no other way of living. It’s a massive problem and something that is taking place in large numbers throughout the US.
As to what I would do about this if I were president… Unfortunately, this starts on a local level. People need to start electing conservative, instead of liberal leaders. From what I’ve seen traveling the country, this sort of thing is occurring more often in the big liberal cities which are often lead by progressive mayors.
This is not an issue that can be solved in a 3-paragraph email post, but I would start by getting these people off the streets and into shelters. I know, I know…. easier said than done. But, where there’s a will, there’s a way.
2) From Christine:
Ladies of the View talk to an African American woman trying to criticize Trump telling her she is being used by him. Unf_ckingreal!!
DML: Stop watching “The View.” Whoopi is a race-baiter.
3) From Darlene S:
I just spoke with Dennis on the phone (I should be an Investigative reporter) and was telling him about the upcoming Maga March which is going to be huge. We have over 1000 signed up in Huntington Beach alone.(Flyer attached) Congressman Dana Rohrabacher along with The US Marines, American Legion, California State Life Guards, and a few others will be at our event. He asked I send you guys the information and he would let you know to expect this email. I am asking him to start announcing our national web page while on his Walk and Talks. If he could please check out what we are about and give us a few shout outs to help build the event up throughout the country that would be great. magamarch.org
DML: Yes, Darlene somehow tracked me down and called my hotel room in San Diego to tell me about the Maga March. Then, she tracked me down again later that evening at a birthday event for a veteran who is 105 years old. Again, she reminded me about mentioning the Maga March. Anyone who works that hard to make America great again deserves some extra promotion. Check out the website link in her message to us.
Unfortunately, President Trump did not attend the event. I was disappointed, but meeting Darlene and a few other supporters made up for it. It was nice to meet you, Darlene. Thanks for the support but please don’t show up at the airport. LOL.
God bless — DML
