Good evening – I’m writing with regards to two of President Trump’s tweets. Both surrounding sports. First, he needs to stay out of the NFL’s business.   We, the consumer will let them know.  I’m an avid sports fan, but have quit watching due to the disrespect, as obviously many others have. This one tweet, which contained language that should NOT be tweeted from a president, will only make things 100 times worse.  Being the mother of a cop, it really angered me because now things will feed the BLM fire more.  Second, his uninviting the Warrior player just made him look like a spoiled child.  He’s not a businessman anymore where it only affects his business, he’s the president, and has to stop this kind of stuff, along with the memes. He’s just making it that much harder for anyone in his party (in Washington and elsewhere) to back him. — Laura

DML: Although I agree with what the president is saying about the NFL and pro athletes, I agree with you in there being no need for him to be discussing it in such great lengths.  To your point, let us fight the battle through ticket sales and TV ratings.  He’s constantly making his job harder for himself.  As for your child the police officer, I thank him/her for their service.

Hi Dennis, This is the first time I’m emailing you, so I want to also tell you that I enjoy your walk and talks and overall I like the way you think. In regards to the poll on Sessions being blamed, I think there was a third option that was missing, because I did not agree with either yes or no.  I think Trumps comment did not place blame but rather submitted the request back to the person who is responsible for taking care of that. The president is not Sessions boss per se, and if he does know of any investigations that are ongoing that Sessions may have (and I’m sure if there is, he does)… he would not be able to answer to the crowds request without spilling the beans. His body language, while I’m not an expert on that, to me spoke volumes that he is confident it’s coming. He just can’t say anything about it. Thanks for listening and maybe do another poll with that third option and see what others think.

DML: I appreciate your email.  I don’t know if there is something coming, so we’ll have to just wait and see.  But people taking our poll appear to side with the president in saying Trump was correct when pointing blame at Sessions. I disagree.  But that’s the beauty of debate.

I think your concept of doing short WALK TALK during the week and longer ones on the weekend are magnificent. Taking us into that estate sale yesterday was so cool.  I purchased a DML HAT Saturday.  Did we reach 500 yet?

DML:  Thanks for tuning in to the Walk & Talk yesterday.  I will try to do one again today.  I believe we all need a laugh once and a while.  As for the hats, we still have about 40 to sell.  People can buy here.
