Hi Dennis, To drive home the point of how rampant addiction is. Not just opioid. I use to live on Cape Cod, MA. My kids were born and raised there. Some of my grandkids were born there and lived there for a time. This is a huge problem on the Cape. Particularly in Falmouth, where I’m from. I have watched with tears in my eyes and my heart broken as family members and friends have struggled with addiction of all kinds to all kinds of substances… pain killers, and when they became too expensive, they got into heroin and fentanyl. Adderall and of course alcohol.

I have watched my son, his girl, my sister in law,  her daughter, my niece my father in law, my sister and so many friends (over the age of 45), ruin their lives and a lot of them die due to overdose.  I have seen friends have to bury their children who succumbed to addiction.  We’ve buried many family members close and extended who succumbed to addiction and overdose   It tears families apart. Can isolate the addicted from their family that wants to help but has tried so hard and tried everything and the addict ends up not wanting help or pushing you away and out of their lives.

Personally, I have an adult daughter whose husband is an addict. She stands by him but as soon as he’s in “recovery” he relapses and with it comes all the unsavory behavior that comes along with addiction. My son and his girl had an addicted baby. She is in foster care. Just a year old. And this Nana is fighting to get her out of foster care and bring her to my home here in Florida.   I could go on and on about what I have witnessed being surrounded with good people that have become addicts and let it take over their lives. It’s the reality and when you have faces and names to go with “addiction.” It brings it home.

This is my grandbaby who I’m trying to bring to Florida. (pic attached).
Beautifully yours, Jamie

DML: Your grandchild is beautiful, and I appreciate you sharing the picture with me. I will not post the picture online because of child privacy issues; I hope you understand. And, I appreciate you sharing your pain with me — the drug issue in this country has to be addressed like we address terrorism.

Impeachment of Trump ad…. I saw that ad on Fox News as well. VERY disturbing — both the content and that Fox would run it.  You are so right, the management at Fox will obviously prostitute itself for the buck. So what is the best way for we “deplorables” to express ourselves to Fox???  Your fan base will act — what do you suggest is our best course of action? Thanks for all you and the DML team do to get the Truth out. God Bless America, Colleen

DML: Do what you did to the NFL, stop watching. There are plenty of online shows like mine to watch. We put out all the news you need on, so you really don’t need FOX. Send a clear message. I no longer tune in. In fact, I only tune in if I know I will need it for my job — Hannity or Tucker only. I used to watch them all the time, not any more.

I have been a long time follower and supporter of yours. Just wanted to let you know how awesome your talks are and that you looked like Elvis in the white jacket! You are Elvis of the Internet news!

DML: Some people say I ain’t nothing by a hound dog, crying all the time. LOL. By the way, it’s not white, but it must look like that over the web. It’s a light beige.
