1) From Susan:
‘The Truth’ with Dennis Michael Lynch.
Great start. I just feel Harlan is seated too low and too far from you. It lacks a sense of intimacy. But otherwise, loving it.
DML: Thanks for both the critique and the kind words. As for the intimacy, I will disagree with you on that one. I think it’s warm, cozy and very relaxed. As a former host on Newsmax TV, and as a frequent guest on Fox, I assure you the distance between Harlan and myself is much closer than most shows place people. As for the height differential, Harlan is shorter than me and he’s sitting on a soft sofa, whereas I am sitting at a desk — some things just are as they are.
2) From Susan B.:
If this surveillance does prove to land in Obama’s lap what if anything can be done to him legally?
DML: I’ve said this before, and I will say this again, the media will never allow Obama to land in jail. Plus, whether she likes it or not, Rice would take the fall if it ever got that close.
3) From Sherry:
I live in Orange County, CA, and I just learned today that the legislators of California in Sacramento have passed “SB 54” to becoming “a Sanctuary State” without a vote of the residents of California. What is your suggestions for those who do not like the idea of becoming a Sanctuary State? I am retired, and live on a fixed income and can’t afford to move…moving out of the state is not an option!
DML: The Senate floor approval on Monday was the first hurdle. The bills now head to the state Assembly for consideration. You can make phone calls to your state’s lawmakers, but, in short, there’s nothing much you can do but hope that President Trump will cut off the magnet to jobs. Then they’ll start to go home. California has lost its way and is so far gone it is near impossible to get back.
