Each day, I receive thousands of messages and emails. Below are three of them from the past 24 hours, and the response I’ve given to each. NOTE: I do not include the last name of the sender unless they explicitly request that I do so.

FROM SIDNEY:
What is Trump doing to fight for his Immigration Ban?

DML:  I believe the DOJ asked the judge to limit the scope of his ruling and awaits a reply. In short, the ban will never work the way it was intended to work. Just limit the numbers of immigrants coming into the country and the problem will get easier to manage. Congress is run by the GOP, so this should be an easy task. Meanwhile, the numbers of incoming refugees continue to scale up again. See our article from yesterday.

FROM BRIAN:
Does the imminent departure of Steve Bannon signal the demise of the nationalist wing that had Trump’s ear in favor of the rhino globalists? Are we doomed to a pivot to retaining the status quo and achieving nothing of consequence on illegals taxes debt islamisation? Very worried.

DML:  I don’t see Bannon going anywhere. Not in the short term, anyway.

FROM IRENE:
You are losing me on ‘The Truth.”  You were building a current news program on Monday through Thursday. Then you took Friday off.  Reliving past glory may be fun – it may even be important.  But do it as a separate program if you have time. Your competitors have – as a minimum – programs that run five days a week – Monday through Friday doing current news.

Friday was a big, big current news day – and you just took it off. Beginnings are a very, very important time – and you seem to be cutting your own throat – and patting yourself on the back for it.

If I understand your plans correctly – you are planning to do more of reliving past glories this next week – instead of current news on “The Truth” and “Walk and Talk” — in my opinion this would be a big – and I mean BIG – mistake given that there is so much current news…

DML:  How I wish you were in the know!

I would love to have taken Friday off, but the fact is, I was at work from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. We spent 90 minutes on Friday’s Walk & Talk speaking about Russia, Syria, Gorsuch, Sweden and a host of other topics. We had a national security analyst on with us for 30-minutes. We then filmed a Friday special about immigration. Not sure how you’d deem that “reliving past glory,” but then again, I did not graduate college so simple things can easily pass over my head. I will say this, immigration and ESL classes are very much part of the current news.

Lastly, we don’t see ourselves as “competitors” to anyone. We see ourselves as innovators, and we have our own style. We try to offer what isn’t being offered. So far, I stand very proud of what three guys are pumping out on a daily basis with a shoestring budget, considering the networks pump out a product that requires millions of dollars and highly-paid staffs of much greater size than ours.
