From Crystal:

Witch Hunt! I keep seeing the hatred on social media and on TV towards our president.  It’s really starting to affect me.  Do you think the liberals are on a witch hunt to bring down anyone who goes to the White House?  For instance, the CEOs that were there recently, like the CEO of Caterpillar and the black president of one of the universities.  More importantly, do you think the President sees this?

DML: The Democrats are great at messaging, I say it all the time. Look at Obama, look at Bill Clinton — very smooth operators. No matter how badly they did their jobs, no matter how corrupt or stupid their policies, they blinded people with sweet-sounding messages and, thus, they got away with it all.

When it comes to selling a message of hate, the Dems are just as dangerous. “Racist. Racist. Racist.” And when it comes to taking someone down — as they are trying to do with Trump — they will stop at nothing. “Russia. Russia. Russia.”

Because they work like a pack of wolves, they form a strategy and then pound on the negative message over, and over, and over again. They attack from all sides, and when they go for the kill, they call upon their relationships with the mainstream media who will help sell the ugly messages on a daily basis.

As I have noted more times than I can count, the Democrats will use “Russia” as their way of derailing Trump and his team. As you noted in your email to me, they will try to force CEOs, professional athletes, actors, etc., to stay away from Trump by making them targets of ridicule if they do otherwise.

In my opinion, there is only one way to fight this…  ignore it all.  If Trump tries to go toe-to-toe with them, he will lose. He will lose because the Dems are trying to throw him off his game and make it so he gets nothing accomplished. That’s how you get him out of office after 4 years. If Trump shows no results, he is done in 2020. This is why I am so passionate about him dropping the fake news tweets and staying 110% positive all of the time. You catch more bees with honey than vinegar.

From Kathy C.:

I love the way DML thinks. I agree with almost everything he says.  I am sure thousands have said this but I think DML should be one of Trump’s advisors ! Seriously!! Thanks for reading. — Kathy

DML: At the risk of being slammed for this statement, “He would be smart to contact me.” If nothing else, I should be helping him with messaging. He has some good people around him, but he could use more, and he has to dump the dead weights that just leech on him for headlines. For example, I just saw a picture yesterday with him and the CEO of Newsmax, Chris Ruddy in the Oval Office. What is he thinking? Ruddy just tossed him and Priebus under the bus two weeks ago. Cut Ruddy lose and never see him again!!!  Sometimes, he makes me scratch my head. LOL.

Thank you, Kathy, for the vote of confidence. 🙂

From Taunja:

I see some of you points on illegal immigration, but I also live in Idaho where it is an agriculture area. I have heard farmers begging for people to work but no one will do the work. One dairy farmer said that he hired American workers and they only lasted a week. These are hard jobs with little pay. So what is your answer to this problem?

Also Idaho is a low wage state and our governor wants it to stay that way. Right to work state. I just think that we need to look at this issue from all perspectives.  Also on the wall they want to put in on the border what impact will that have on wildlife by the Rio Grande? The wildlife depend on the river for water. That is a desert so where else will wildlife get water. Thanks for listening, Taunja

DML: (1) VISAS. Farmers throughout America employ more than 1 million people to work crops. Half of those workers are illegal aliens. But understand, that is by CHOICE of the farmer. Our H2A visa system does not put a limit on crop workers. However, even though there are no limits to the number of H2A visas that can be granted each year, only 65,000 were issued last year. Why? Farmers avoid the program because they prefer illegal aliens who can be paid less and have no rights to complain about poor working conditions. Others simply refuse to deal with the complexity of the H2A system. Farmers must spend two-and-a-half months and hundreds of dollars getting approval from several state agencies and four federal agencies just to get one H2A worker on their land. No question, we have to reform the H2A process which is filled with red tape, and we have to help farmers create a safe workplace for all workers without putting them out of business in the process.

(2) WALL. I do not think you will see a WALL along the Rio Grande. I think too many issues, including some of the ones you pointed out, will prevent a WALL from going up. Having said that, I have been to the RIO area and we DO NOT HAVE adequate security. There are barely any boats patrolling, and BP agents are few when compared to the vast land that must be covered. I say this for the one trillionth time, REMOVE THE INCENTIVE TO COME HERE and PEOPLE WON’T CROSS THE RIO GRANDE.
